Forest Glen Golf & Country Club

We were vacationing in Marco Island and saw this course on golfnow.com for $37 per player. My wife and I purchased the rounds and headed to the course, which is only 20 minutes from the JW Marriott. The course was in mint condition, even the driving range, grass was like carpet!! The staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially the bar tender. He opened early due to the weather closing the course. Unfortunately, we only were able to play the front 9 as thunderstorms and lighting prevented our back 9. We will certainly add Forest Glen to next years vacation. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

My husband and I have been playing this course for at least 10 years. We’ve always had a pleasant experience with the staff up until this year. They have a new bag person who is quite pushy and not real accommodating, today especially. Storms came in and out with lightening and stopped play twice to wait for the lightening to end. It took several hours. We we went back out for the last time and this particular bag person came out while we were on the 17 th and told us we could not finish the last hole because it was 6 pm, in the summer mind you. We have never experienced this type of action from any of the other staff. This particular gentleman is new, have never seen him until this year. He unfortunately is NOT all t all like the rest of the staff. He is somewhat of a bully and seemed to be in a hurry to get home. We’ve decided to take a hiatus’s from this course, which is one of our favorite. So sad.

One of the best courses in Collier County, Florida.

Played this course for the first time while on vacation and this place was perfect. A shooters course to pick your spots vs. your typical grip it and rip it course. Greens picture perfect and true.

Forest Glen is always in immaculate condition. Took some friends there as it was their first time and they were very impressed!

As a former LPGA tour pro wanting to play some vacation golf with my husband, we highly recommend Forest Glen. Golf course was in great shape tee to green even with past heavy rains. Staff were so great, helpful and friendly. We’ll be back. Janice Moodie

This course was in immaculate condition, everything from the driving range to final hole was immaculate. I would highly recommend this course to anyone traveling into this area!

It started out good ,but 1/2 into the game ,had some bad rain ,and had to leave.

The field was in very good condition. The car not so much. There is no gps guide in the car, no hole plans, or references for someone playing the course for the first time.

The round was officially suspended due to the storm, so I only played 12 holes.

Course is in fantastic condition! Would play everyday if I had the chance!

Chose this course based on recent reviews and they were spot on. Greens rolled true and were so nice it was hard to find any blemishes to help line up longer putts. Never had a bad lie all day. Bunker sand was very consistent. Found out the greens were punched about a month ago so book with confidence that they will be good for a while. I saw at least a dozen maintenance guys working the course during our round so they are clearly making the effort to keep it this nice. In SoCal, a course in this condition is easily a $100+. I'll be back the next time I'm in the area. The facilities looked great but I did not use them except for the iced towels available at the turn, best idea ever!
