Forest Glen Golf & Country Club

When I booked this course through Golfnow, I failed to notice that "cargo" shorts were not allowed. This was the first time I had encountered this rule at a course. The staff showed me a selection of acceptable shorts at the pro shop. I purchased a pair, changed in the beautiful locker room, and headed out to the first tee. I played as a single, and the starter suggested that I join a couple on the third hole, or I would be waiting behind a few other groups. He told me I could play holes one and two at the end of the round. It was an excellent suggestion. I was paired with a nice couple who live at Forest Glen, and are members. We played the first nine holes together, and they stopped. I was able to play the remaining holes as a single at a good pace with minimal waiting. The condition of this course was immaculate. The fairways, greens, and tee boxes were perfect. Its obvious that a lot of time and effort go into keeping this course in shape. It is the nicest course I've ever played in the Naples area. There is a reason why Golfnow users ranked this the #1 course in the country. I will definitely play here again!

I am an average gofer and the course ate many of my golf ball. I still broke a 100. Next time I wii know the course a little better. My friends and I thought the course was fantastic.

Beautiful and challenging golf course in excellent condition. Played three rounds in a row after my 1st time that I played back in July.Tee boxes, fairways and greens were all in perfect condition for summertime play in Florida. Can't wait to play again when I'm back in Naples this December. Pro shop and course staff were very friendly and helpfull. Practice facilty and range were perfect for a warm up before each round (included in the green fees). Dining facilities and bar area served excellent food and drinks at reasonable prices.If you intend to be in Naples and paly golf, Forest Glen Golf and CC should be on the top of your list for a truely enjoyable and satysfying golf experience.

Played this course for the first time after made a wrong booking... I´m happy for that mistake! The course was in perfrect condition and the holes was interesting.

high quality maintenance, greens are very true and consistent.

We had lots of rain the days before we played, but yet the course was in pretty good shape and excellently maintained. Only 3 holes were closed for carts. The layout is great, sometimes challenging, but always fair.The grass on the tees and fairways is excellent. Greens are not the fastest but still fast enough. We also played TPC Treviso Bay and Tiburon in Naples. The course at Forest Glen is at least as perfect as these and the value for the money is unbeatable. I will definitely play it again!

The conditions are primo! It's summer here so I play quite a few courses and Forest Glen always impresses me with the condition of the course compared to all others!

This golf course was a totally in magnificent condition. My congatulations to the entire golf course staff. It was certainly a pleasure to play.

I dare you to find a blade of grass out of place or not manicured! This golf course is amazing to look at and even better value to play in Naples in the summer. The people in charge at Forest Glen have found a formula that works and I hope for the good of golf they will not change it. The moment you pull up to the bag drop until you load your clubs back in after your round only positive things happen. Every employee treats you with respect and a smile and if your lucky Rocket will be behind the bar to serve you after the round. (Best BLT sandwich I have ever eaten) thanks Rocket!! A beautiful course in pristine condition. Difficult and challenging greens with tricky pin positions.
I played from the gold tees and had to cross lots of water, so you have to be rather long with many of your tee shots playing from this tee position.
The most beautiful course I played in this Fort Myers/Naples area and I played many different courses around. I will certainly come back and recommend it to all my friends.

Everyone was friendly especially the superintendent. Course was in excellent condition and was very pleasing to play. Excellent value. Food in clubhouse was great and Reuben our server was friendly, professional and very informative.

Course in great condition. Every hole interesting and different.

Course currently has more sand than Naples beach. Wait a month before giving it a go.

Beautifully maintained, combination of fair to difficult and challenging holes. I played it from the gold and it was fair but tough (13 handicap)

Nice course very very well maintained ,narrowish fairways and challenging but overall a great day .each hole was different and interesting
staff a little miserable but "cheap rate golf nowers" do expierence this on private courses ,If not done for 5pm they chase you ,but hey who cares !

Everything was perfect and I would recommend this course to players of all abilities. Great lunch in the clubhouse!

Course in decent condition but dreadfully slow; they overcharged us and when we brought this to their attention the refund was delivered in a 'couldnt give a toss' manner; absolutely no food or beverage service on offer at 2.30 when we finished - even the bag drop guy didnt know if there was one or not. DO NOT GO HERE!

I have played here on numerous occasions as a Golf Now participant.

Excellent course conditions, though the greens seemed a bit slow.

This course will test every club in the bag.
