Pace of play was fantastic. Greens were soft, held approach shots and putts rolled true. Weather cooperated as well. A terrific day all around.
Best round
Shot my best round of golf 67. Definitely in my top 5. Must play if in the area
Best in Venice
I always play here first when I visit, it’s been my favorite since it opened. Very consistent greens, great fairways and rough. What’s not to like??
Challenging but fair
Played Sarasota National for first time. Pace was very good and conditions were great.
Course is challenging but not overly tough so all can enjoy regardless of your skill level.
Outstanding Course
Great course, layout, staff and outing. Played the blues, which offered its own set of challenges that kept us on our toes. Highly recommended and will definitely play again.
Best $35 I’ve ever spent on a round of golf!
From the time we walked into pro shop until the end of the round we enjoyed it! Charlie in the pro shop was extremely inviting and pleasant! The range balls were new the tee boxes were perfect and the greens were true! Will definitely play here again and recommend to everyone I know that golfs!

A great afternoon round.
A hot deal tee time and a 3 1/2 hour round on a great track makes for a great afternoon.
Can’t wait to come back and play it again.
Some greens could use some work
Very nice staff. The course was designed well with some unique holes but it was not an extraordinary course and I didn't walk away thinking wow, that was a cool hole like I have done at other courses. Many of the greens were very nice and moderately fast but there were several that were not in good shape. If the greens had been good I would have rated the course 4 stars.

Friendly Staff. Nice Layout. A few rough spots, greens and fairways but very few. I would come back.

Almost perfect
Terrific course, everything was top notch.
Wonderful practice facility.
There were some splotchy rough spots in the fairways, but that’s a minor, very minor complaint.
Sarasota National
Fun layout in very nice condition. Generous landing areas off the tee, nice pace to the greens. Wind is a primary defense to scoring. Very enjoyable round!
Really slow
2:40 front nine left after 13 as foursomesomes in front of us and we never would have finished. No sign of ranger trying to move people along, there are better options in the area and I don’t really think this course wants outside non member play. Good practice area.
Another windy day
Every time I play lately the wind is killing me. Today was no exception but we had fun and the coarse was great didn’t take advantage of any coarse amenities so I can’t say how they are from the guy at the gate cart people pro shop and starter were all great hope I get a chance to come back
