Lexington Oaks Golf Club

5 hour round didn’t see a ranger until 13. Not a good experience. Course in pretty good shape.

The golf course is somewhat okay, the problem is when it rains there is a drainage problem its always muddy and difficult to enjoy playing.

Took the rain really good best course for the money

Everytime I come into the are I look to play Lexington at least once very happy with the course

This is a course that would be fantastic. The greens are nice. The fairway looks good. Rough could use some work but it is February. My one hang up on it….ive played 3x and the pace is AWFUL. They have 8 min tee times. They’re almost always full. And it just takes forever. Marshals ride around but don’t do much to make play speed up. Worth playing. Just make sure you have 5 hours to do so.

I’ve been playing here since I moved to Tampa and I have not had a round under 4 hours. Nobody cares about pace of play, all the old men who golf their think they own the course and don’t let you play thru out of pride. The staff does nothing about the play. If you play here tell the wife you’ll be gone at least 6 hours

I waited for a cart. Then waited for the twosome in front to tee off (which was ok, but we started about 30 minutes late). Then the rest was not well kept. Had people jumping ahead, zero rangers, no starters. They close at 5 (no cart service-still ok), the back 9 restroom was locked at 4:40, then when we left the entire clubhouse was dark and locked. Pathetic, never again.

First time playing this course and my only complaint is “what’s up with people playing in jeans and how are other golfers allowed to jump on different holes which slows the pace of play considerably. Really you guys need a marshal to monitor this.
