Lexington Oaks Golf Club

Lexington Oaks was in OK condition....the main issue was the greens were not in the best shape.....fairways were good, nice and wide with minimal sand and water hazards, although there were a few holes that required a straight shot......looking forward to returning again someday soon.....

Greens were not in good shape, but they were puttable, a little hairy. played behind a group of 20, pace was a little slow.

The course was in the worst shape I have ever seen it in the 7 years that I have lived in the area. The greens and fairways are bare and to ask over $50 to play is robbery. It will be a long time before I attempt this course again.

I like this course and have played here many times. But this time the vast majority of the greens were in horrible condition. If I knew how bad they were I wouldn't have played there and I will not do so again until they are made playable again. Also, many areas close to and in front of the greens were baked hard pan, making it very difficult for an amateur to lift the ball. The wedge just bounces off the hard ground. NOT RECOMMENDED!

The greens had lots of bad brown spots on them and played very inconsistant. It could be the lack of rain, but the greens and fairways are in rough shape.

The course has some interesting and challenging holes. The course is quite dry and the greens appear to have some problems. They roll well but don’t look very good. The round was close to 4 1/2 hours, probably because some holes are quite tight and there is water in play on lots of holes. The food was great in the clubhouse

I like the layout. It’s a nice layout with some challenging holes especially the last two holes. However the course is in bad shape and needs water. The greens have areas with no or little grass. The fairways are hard and dried out in areas. It wasn’t worth the $40 on TeeOff. We were here a year ago and it looked like they were starting to get it turned around. The greens were in decent shape then. Don’t know what happen. Very disappointed.

Course has a nice layout, fairways were fairly decent...,some areas were worn down. The greens were in horrible shape. Each one appeared to have some type of disease

It's been 15 years or so since I regularly played out here and I was disappointed in its deterioration. The course needs water badly. Fairways were like hitting off concrete. Greens were furry and in varying degrees of health, tee boxes were chewed up. All in all there are too many other comparable courses in the area to currently recommend playing here.

We had to wait 20 minutes past our tee time for a cart. Pace of play was 5hrs for 18 holes. Greens were patchy but rolled okay.

This is the second time I've book in 2 weeks and both times, my tee times were pushed back at least 1/2 hour. The course had a shotgun tournament before my tee time. It seems that the folks at Lexington have no idea home to move golfers along. Further, they have not left enough time between the shotgun group and the general public. We quit after 10 holes and 3 hours of golf. Ugly.

Due to time of year and little rain, the greens were spotty in places and hard. Fairways had a lot of bare areas. Over all for the time of year, not a bad place to play.

Greens look bad a few worse. Surface of most greens smooth. Sand not raked. Back tee boxes in rough shape. Forward tees in better shape. Back 9 very challenging. 2 holes have to be on your game. Trees make them have small windows to the green. Lots of water. Would be nice to have distance for carries over water on card or at tee box.

The pace of play was great. The course was in pretty good condition. I would recommend it to anyone.
