Lexington Oaks Golf Club

I didn’t know a course could be this bad in Florida. The reviews for this place must be fake because this course is a dog track. Absolutely no grass on the tee boxes, most fairways are dirt or crab grass, the bunkers are laughable, and the greens were horrible (to be fair they had just been sanded so they can’t cut and roll them). The design of the course was just horrible too. Houses are pretty much on the fairway. 0/10.

Took my Dad to play - he loved it! It was the perfect balance of price & quality. the Greens were beautful and in really good shape. The Tee boxes were good but a little worn from not having rain in a month, but we loved the way the course played and had a great time.

The course is in ok shape. Tee boxes and fairways were ok however some of the greens, especially on the back need some tlc. The other greens were nice however very slow compared to other courses in the area. The layout offers some challenges and is fun to play.

This is a nice course. First time we played this course but not the last.

First the course; Nice course with challenging layout. Greens in good shape and we’ll maintained. Fairways in decent shape and tee boxes were okay.

Now the rest of the story; Pace of play brutal. Took 5 hours to play 16. When arriving for an early afternoon tee time noticed a lot of people standing around pro shop. Knew then I should have cancelled and left. They did not have enough carts for the tee times booked. Tee times were already 20 minutes behind. When courses are backed up like this people need to play ready golf, but they wait for a green to clear 250 yards out knowing they can’t hit that far and wait on each person in party to hit each shot before they advance while other parties are backing up on the tee boxes. Got to 16 and partners cart ran out of juice. Had to push them back to club house. By then it was getting dark and didn’t get to finish round.

Will try again when snowbirds go home.

I have always liked this layout. Great staff and usually good pace of play. This round the bunkers were in terrible shape and the greens need some love, also the green speed was very inconsistent.

30 minutes late to tee off. 2nd time in a row that things were late getting going…

Pace of play is terrible. Took us 5 hours to finish 18 we were waiting 10 minutes at every tee box. Don’t know what they were thinking with the spacing.

The rest of the course was in great shape. But the greens were so unputtable. Every green was very long, not rolled, not cut, and very very very very slow.
