Lexington Oaks Golf Club

This is a cautionary tale. I’m like that dumb child that won’t stop touching a hot stove, because every time I pull into the Lexington Oaks parking lot I try and convince myself that this time will be a good experience. It never is. I can’t remember the last time I didn’t play a 4.5-5 hour round of golf here. I have never seen a golf course with such constant horrible pace of play, and the pro shop could not care less. It was made clear to me that the owner of Lexington Oaks is just trying to suck as much money out of the place as possible and has little to no regard for the golf community.

In terms of course conditions, it’s nothing special. You can go anywhere else at the same price point and have a much more enjoyable experience.

If you are like me and just want to have a relaxing round of golf while sharpening your game, avoid this place lien the plague.

We played Lexington Oaks for the first time today. Our Starter was very friendly and helpful. We golfed with 2 very nice men, We had a very enjoyable day together. The course was quite busy, but the pace was still good. We bogged down twice, but still managed to finish in just over 4 hrs.The course was in good condition and is not excessively punishing. The greens roll very smooth and true. We really enjoyed our round. We will be back again

This is one of the courses we enjoy playing although it has been a while. It was in fair shape this afternoon. Irrigation appears to be an issue as some parts of the course we're soggy and some of the greens looked to have been infected with something. The staff is always friendly and restaurant a star of the property. We'll be back for sure.

Have'nt played this course in a year you have to hit straight because a lot of water both sides green were pretty fast and sand traps had soft sand had a very challenging day and I loved it and so did my 3 friends with me they would come back and play this course again. Great for the money

Lexington Oaks Golf Club is excellent for all! The golf course is beautiful and highly maintained. The views are incredible and our children enjoy the scenic outdoor environment. The cuisine may be best of all - my favorites being their Friday Night Dinner Special and Sunday Brunch. Most importantly, the staff makes you feel safe, comfortable and at home throughout your visit. I would highly recommend to my family and friends and can’t wait to go back again real soon!

I notice at a lot of the courses I been playing at that they are charging customers $10 if you want your own cart. They are forcing customers to pair up even if they are not living in the same household. With the rise of COVID-19 cases I fill someone need to enforce CDC Guidelines on these golf courses. I will be reporting these courses to the CDC and see if they can do something about it. Health is first priority.

I wish someone would have notified us that the greens just had sand put on them. Disappointed with that part of it.

Greens have been over..over-sanded. I've never seen rooster tails come off a ball. Several greens were bare.

Course is in good shape, a couple of greens are pretty bad but overall the course is in good shape.

The CDC says to distance your self from others and you want me to share a cart with someone I don’t know or pay you an extra $10 to have my own cart I did like your course a lot until you did that to me. I think I will go elsewhere and maybe after this is all over I will return but you put a bad taste in my mouth so I will have to think about it

Visiting from Atlanta, I intended to play 5 courses in 5 days. Once I played Lexington, I had to play it twice. Greens were a bit hairy and slow but otherwise a truly great experience.

The fairways are in great shape, the greens run fast and true (in great shape). The course is fun and has some challenging holes. The staff is very friendly and helpful!.

Will definitely play again.
