Lexington Oaks Golf Club

The course overall is in excellent shape. The fairways are perfect and the greens run fast and true. There are some challenging holes that will test golfers.

The staff are both very friendly and helpful!! I highly recommend this golf course!

Rachel got us started today and let us know there were two tournaments starting as well. She had us start on the back 9 so we could finish, if possible. The course was in awesome shape, and we had a fantastic time. Will be back soon!!

They charged me an extra $20.00 for single cart. There was no mention of this when you registered to play. Course in poor shape for this time of year. Some greens were uncut and others had seed spread on them. Much better courses in area for far less. Will not go back to this course, Terrible.

Had a great time the whole day food was great service was friendly and ownership was very nice!

While a nice course overall, many holes have large soggy/muddy conditions in front of greens that have been allowed to exist for a long time. No effort is being made to clean up these areas and they are not normal for a decent golf course to have as part of the layout. Some tee.boxes are also in dire need of maintenance, and it looks like some improvements may have been started to tee boxes. Still a nice layout to play if you can avoid the muddy areas.

Golfed on a monday, so naturally fhere was only minor backups. Course was dry, but grass cut well, and tee boxes gererally fair condition. Good short course from the whites, but played from the blues on back 9 and still did fine

The day started off poorly as we argued with the pro shop about carts.

We were a threesome (WITH NO FOURTH PERSON ASSIGNED TO PLAY WITH US!). I always pay for a single cart. A threesome would get 2 carts and I paid for a third cart. The pro shop woman was arguing with us that TWO of us had to pay the exorbitant single cart fee. ILLOGICAL! I had an out of town guest checking in with me and there were two other patrons in the pro shop. It was totally embarrassing and a horrible way to start what was meant to be a FUN round of golf!

Course condition was also lacking. Many tee boxes and some greens really need attention.

Pace of play was pretty good. We finished in just under 4 hours.

We had played Heritage Isles on Friday and it was a much better course, very well maintained, and friendly staff. Though all courses have single cart fees, Heritage Isles was less expensive.

I don’t think I will play here again. It was an average course, Not worth $62.60 (with Single cart fee)

The staff is the best. Love the layout. 1st time in 20 years pitted for an eagle on par4, didn’t get it but shot 78 from the blues. Greens were great And pitted true.will be back once a week.

I play 3 times a week. Lexington is one of the nicest but challenging courses within a 25 mile radius . The Pro Shop Staff can't be beat. They are friendly, kind and accommodating. The restaurant has outstanding food and great wait staff. The overall place just can't be beat for a great round of golf then lunch or dinner!

I think it is bull try want you to ride with someone you don’t know. I get it if you arrive together but two strangers ( NO ) and they change you $10 to have your own cart I will not play that course again. I guess my life is not worth anything

This is a cautionary tale. I’m like that dumb child that won’t stop touching a hot stove, because every time I pull into the Lexington Oaks parking lot I try and convince myself that this time will be a good experience. It never is. I can’t remember the last time I didn’t play a 4.5-5 hour round of golf here. I have never seen a golf course with such constant horrible pace of play, and the pro shop could not care less. It was made clear to me that the owner of Lexington Oaks is just trying to suck as much money out of the place as possible and has little to no regard for the golf community.

In terms of course conditions, it’s nothing special. You can go anywhere else at the same price point and have a much more enjoyable experience.

If you are like me and just want to have a relaxing round of golf while sharpening your game, avoid this place lien the plague.
