Stoneybrook West Golf Course

No rain lately but is was soft muddy. Still a lot

Of bare spots. And fraiways are thin

First time playing this course since it reopened, I was surprised how good the course is especially since average reviews were only 3 stars! I live just outside the third hole, I could see them working on improvements every day.

I think that if they drop the price to 40.00 weekdays and 50.00 on weekends, they will fill the course everyday once the word gets out! Anyone who tries it out will want to play it again as I do,

I've played StoneyBrook West for the third time now, and I must say it keeps getting better. While I wouldn't have paid the full price initially, I'm glad that GolfNow offered a great deal that made it worthwhile. I'm hopeful that the course conditions will keep improving, and if they do, I believe it would be worth paying $60 or even more.

So for a course that just re-opened and was remodeled, it was pretty good. Greens were not perfect but rolled well. Fairways and rough were ok but could be better. Staff were super nice. There was a tournament ahead of me so I waited to tee off so I was not near them and I ended up playing in 3.5 hours.

Definitely going back.

Course is still growing the rough fairways and greens are decent.

This is my first visit after their reopening. Obviously there are a lot of things that need to be fixed including fairways, tee boxes and bunkers. That being said all of the aforementioned issues can and will be corrected as time passes. The greens are in very good condition and they rolled true and quick. The layout has always been a challenge but fair. I will definitely play here again.

Decided to try this course in spite of the bad review since some of the more recent reviews were more positive and claimed the course was getting better. But I wonder what it was like before if this was improvement.The greens were actually fine but the fairways were in terrible conditions highly affecting the game. Many greens also had new grass blocks that hadn’t settled so nothing landing there would roll onto the green. This course also lacks care in off course ameneties, toilets were filthy to the point we didn’t use them. This course needs care and ambition to improve conditions all over!

The club house was real nice. The golf cart seats were luxurious. 17 of 18 fairways were good. Greens were real nice. Got us out early. Less than 4 hour pace. I'll be back.

Highly recommend! Super fast pace of play, greens are in great shape given they just opened in September! Fairways are hit or miss, but if you want fun, challenging, golf for half the price some of the Orlando area courses are charging… this is it!
