About
Located in Ave Maria, Panther Run Golf Club is less than 30 minutes from Naples but it has a much more secluded feel. The course was built with a strong dedication to preserving the landscape's beautiful natural features and significant environmental resources, even as residences started being developed. An abundance of lakes and waterways characterizes the golf course, all of which are filled with alligators and other native wildlife. It is nearly impossible to play a round without spotting a gator. In addition to the 13 holes with water, there are more than 60 bunkers strategically placed throughout. The challenges are balanced by generous greens and wide-open, player-friendly fairways. Panther Run G.C. also boasts an expansive practice facility that includes five practice greens, a short game area with two sand bunkers, and an aqua driving range.

Back tees should be available to anyone who wants to play them
I like Panther Run golf course, but after not praying it in a couple years because of the over priced greens fees I found a decent price and wanted to play it again so I grabbed a 1:30 tee time. I did not realize until I arrived on the first tee that the head grounds keeper would not let anyone use the back tees and when I asked why the two starters could not tell me why only that the head grounds keeper did not allow play from the tips for a couple years now. The whole point of having multiple tee boxes is so that people can play the course at whatever yardage they choose. Why keep maintaining the back tees and not let people play them. As much as I like Panther Run I will not pay top dollar too not be able to play the course the way I choose too.
Nice course forgiving fairways
Played this course in poor weather but still enjoyed the round.
My wife and I played and the pace was great, around 3.25 hours. The course was in good shape and we scored well - the fairways are wide and reasonably forgiving.
Loved it.
It's the nicest course I've played in SW Florida. I definitely will play it again.
Best Public Course in Naples Area
This is our favorite place to play. The course is always in beautiful condition and the staff is always very friendly and helpful!
Golf in the nature
Balls, birds and Alligators…but dont worry the driveways are enough large that you wont have to battle for your ball with a big reptile !!

The course was in good shape, however the greens had so much sand on them that it made putting difficult. One beverage cart for 18 holes with a full schedule of golfers isn’t enough.
Nice public golf
Overall in great shape. Worth the drive. Charges an extra 2.5% for credit and they don’t take cash. No usb port in cart but has gps. Beverage cart came around a few times.
