About
Located in Ave Maria, Panther Run Golf Club is less than 30 minutes from Naples but it has a much more secluded feel. The course was built with a strong dedication to preserving the landscape's beautiful natural features and significant environmental resources, even as residences started being developed. An abundance of lakes and waterways characterizes the golf course, all of which are filled with alligators and other native wildlife. It is nearly impossible to play a round without spotting a gator. In addition to the 13 holes with water, there are more than 60 bunkers strategically placed throughout. The challenges are balanced by generous greens and wide-open, player-friendly fairways. Panther Run G.C. also boasts an expansive practice facility that includes five practice greens, a short game area with two sand bunkers, and an aqua driving range.

A Great Experience...
The course was in excellent condition. The staff was very friendly. The members were also very friendly. I started with a married couple that only played 9 holes. On the back I was by myself and waiting on every shot for the 4 some in from of me. Fortunately, a friendly group of 3 women came up behind me and offered to let me join them and everything worked out perfectly. The course is fairly wide open with very little high rough. You really have to hit a bad shot to lose a ball. Water comes into play on some holes but not enough to be annoying. Overall, an excellent experience and I will definitely go back.
Worth the trip!!
First time player this course and it was well worth the drive from Ft Myers! The greens and fairways were in fantastic shape! Just a note don’t go looking for golf balls near the water. Saw two alligators which was enough for me to just play another ball!!

Near Perfect!
Course was in great shape. Hard not to enjoy the round, even when you aren't shooting well.
An easy drive, but out of town a fair bit if you are in Fort Myers or Naples, but worth the trip. Wide fairways are generous and in good condition providing lots of opportunities for letting it fly. The greens are large, smooth, quick and gently contoured in general. A fair challenge and interesting to play without the "make it or bust" shots that some other courses require. Great warm up range with free balls. We have enjoyed our visits here on our trips from Scotland and will play again in Sept/Oct
Great course!!
This is a must play course. It is a drive if you’re in Ft Myers, but is well worth the trip! Large greens that rolled true!! Be sure to get some lunch at the rusty putter.
Almost perfect
Maintenance staff didn't seem to care we were coming up the fairway. Wished they would have moved over a bit. Felt pressure to not hit them. One marshall could have kept his voice down as we were putting and he was chatting with the maintenance folks as well. Greens were a tad long but maybe they were just not cut yet. Otherwise good layout. Just need a little more courtesy towards players.
Course and staff was top notch.
Will be back to play again
Great Golf Course
Course is in excellent condition, great practice facilities and free range balls. Wide fairways and large greens both in perfect condition, 10/10 would play again in a heartbeat
