About
Located in Ave Maria, Panther Run Golf Club is less than 30 minutes from Naples but it has a much more secluded feel. The course was built with a strong dedication to preserving the landscape's beautiful natural features and significant environmental resources, even as residences started being developed. An abundance of lakes and waterways characterizes the golf course, all of which are filled with alligators and other native wildlife. It is nearly impossible to play a round without spotting a gator. In addition to the 13 holes with water, there are more than 60 bunkers strategically placed throughout. The challenges are balanced by generous greens and wide-open, player-friendly fairways. Panther Run G.C. also boasts an expansive practice facility that includes five practice greens, a short game area with two sand bunkers, and an aqua driving range.

Everything was was excellent! The only thing I would fix, would be the food and drinks at the turn. It's primarily a lounge/restaurant, and secondly an area to servicing golfers making the turn. Adding an area just for servicing golfers making the turn would enable better pace of play and less stress for golfers and staff.
Worth the ride
Drove down from Ft Myers and thoroughly enjoyed the round. Only issue was gps tried to take me thru a road that was closed. Love the course and in great shape. Pace was just a few min behind allotted time. Will definitely be back

Worth the Drive
I always enjoy this course. Wide fairways but some difficult approaches. Pace of play was great with 11am tee time: under 3.5 hours. Course in great shape.
Turkeys on the Tee box!!!
This course is amazing by all accounts. Layout is longer than most, however it is also very forgiving. Conditions were perfect, pace was good, staff is very friendly, and the icing on the cake was the turkeys on number 17 calling at sundown as we Tee'd off!!! Worth every penny, would highly recommend to anyone, just be careful around the water.

Great golf value!
I have played the Panther Run course the past couple of years during the holidays. It has been in great shape every time and is a great value. This course would probably be twice as expensive if it were in Naples. The only negative I have is the odd driving range. Water range balls with a couple of odd targets. Other than that I have nothing but positive things to.say.
