About
Located in Ave Maria, Panther Run Golf Club is less than 30 minutes from Naples but it has a much more secluded feel. The course was built with a strong dedication to preserving the landscape's beautiful natural features and significant environmental resources, even as residences started being developed. An abundance of lakes and waterways characterizes the golf course, all of which are filled with alligators and other native wildlife. It is nearly impossible to play a round without spotting a gator. In addition to the 13 holes with water, there are more than 60 bunkers strategically placed throughout. The challenges are balanced by generous greens and wide-open, player-friendly fairways. Panther Run G.C. also boasts an expansive practice facility that includes five practice greens, a short game area with two sand bunkers, and an aqua driving range.

Decent course, terrible policies
The layout was fun, greens were awfully slow but consistent. My only problem was being told I wasn’t allowed to tee off the back tee box if the markers weren’t set up there.
I came to play this golf course to because I saw that it was a 7500 yard course with good reviews, only to be told by the starter that I wasn’t allowed to play from a tee box without tee markers. The best part - they didn’t even have the back tees (Tee 1 on the scorecard) set out. If I pay to play a golf course I should be able to play the whole golf course. Not a fan of their policy and accessibility.

BIG FUN
This without a doubt is the best golf course I've played all winter. It's in top-notch shape I was told they closed it down for six months and replanted Bermuda grass. Is soft ice creams are awesome the course it is fun to play.

Fun day at Panther Run
Very hard to get reservations for non-members. Luck out and got a 8:24 tee time for four golfers. We all thoroughly enjoy the course and the professionalism displayed by all the staff. Will definitely play again if there's tee times.

Greens
The greens were as hard as concrete. Could not get the ball to stop. Low spinning approach shots bounced and ran off the back side. Putted ok but you couldn’t get the ball to stop, period!

Above average course, great for the price.
The course pace was a little slow but no slower than normal. Got there early and the starter allowed us to join another two some a half hour early. Paid for a twilight rate. Fairways, rough, and traps were beautiful. Greens were average with minimal wear and tear. Well worth the drive from Naples. Don't let the water scare you, it's hardly ever in play.
