About
Located in Ave Maria, Panther Run Golf Club is less than 30 minutes from Naples but it has a much more secluded feel. The course was built with a strong dedication to preserving the landscape's beautiful natural features and significant environmental resources, even as residences started being developed. An abundance of lakes and waterways characterizes the golf course, all of which are filled with alligators and other native wildlife. It is nearly impossible to play a round without spotting a gator. In addition to the 13 holes with water, there are more than 60 bunkers strategically placed throughout. The challenges are balanced by generous greens and wide-open, player-friendly fairways. Panther Run G.C. also boasts an expansive practice facility that includes five practice greens, a short game area with two sand bunkers, and an aqua driving range.

Hidden gem
Have been there twice…. Love the layout …. Greens were a little inconsistent but fair after we played 4 or 5 of them. Was rushed a tad to tee off due to a member tournament but all in all a good day!!

Beautiful course
Course is beautiful with wide fairways…. Greens were rock hard wen it came to holding but not as fast as u would think. Was tough figuring them out . But was worth the 1 hour drive from Marco!!
Very Nice and Playable Course
Panther Run is a semi-private course at Ave Maria. As it is everywhere near Naples in season, it's very difficult to get on at a decent time and price. Most often, it's around $180. If you can snag one of the few early PM TT's you can get in for a little over a buck. Around 3PM it drops to around $60. (I would assume that it will be closer to 5 PM once we turn our clocks forward next week.) Got in 18 with a 3PM start. (Earliest I could get) We finished at 6:25 PM after the sun had already set. We could have been done shortly after 6, as two groups bailed in front of us, and had we not caught up to a foursome that thought they were putting to win the US Open. (On every hole)
The course is in great condition and is pleasing to the eye. Greens are large with moderate undulations. Some have some serious slopes. Bunkers are in great condition, with a considerable depth of sand. Overall, a very nice, fun, and playable track.

Favorite course in the Ft Myers area
Greens a little shaggy (late day round) but everything else was perfect. Good company, good pace, lush fairways. Enough tee choices to accommodate short hitters like me.

We like it.
Problem checking in. Credit card terminal not working. Took so long we couldn't warm up. Also cart return signage not correct. Roped off, no help from staff. Everything else about course was fine and dandy.
