About
Located in Ave Maria, Panther Run Golf Club is less than 30 minutes from Naples but it has a much more secluded feel. The course was built with a strong dedication to preserving the landscape's beautiful natural features and significant environmental resources, even as residences started being developed. An abundance of lakes and waterways characterizes the golf course, all of which are filled with alligators and other native wildlife. It is nearly impossible to play a round without spotting a gator. In addition to the 13 holes with water, there are more than 60 bunkers strategically placed throughout. The challenges are balanced by generous greens and wide-open, player-friendly fairways. Panther Run G.C. also boasts an expansive practice facility that includes five practice greens, a short game area with two sand bunkers, and an aqua driving range.

Worth the drive!
It is hard to find public golf at a reasonable price in the Naples area. When I found Panthers Run in Ave Maria , I decided to check it out. I was very pleased with the price and the course. Definitely worth the drive. I will be back soon.

Accommodating staff
Our tee time was made for an afternoon when there was an outing already scheduled. Received a call from the staff 2 days prior and they were able move us to the morning shotgun. They did weave some additional groups in at the turn which created a back up and resulted in a 5 hr round.

Golf at Ave Maria
The course was very enjoyable to play. Nothing was tricked up or poorly laced out. Conditions were great. The restaurant was very good and friendly. Open until 8 PM
The only downside was the travel time to get there from North Baples.

First Time @ Panther Run - very green!
Course layout was great. First time I found a FLA course where the ball was sitting up slightly in the fairway. As a Michigan golfer, I liked that.
Green fair, not slow or fast. Bunkers very nice, but need to put rakes out on the course. Playing late morning there were some bad lies caused by no rakes.

A great experience from start to finish, the staff was extremely friendly, the course conditions were outstanding especially since they have not had much rain, would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing round of golf.
