About
Located in Ave Maria, Panther Run Golf Club is less than 30 minutes from Naples but it has a much more secluded feel. The course was built with a strong dedication to preserving the landscape's beautiful natural features and significant environmental resources, even as residences started being developed. An abundance of lakes and waterways characterizes the golf course, all of which are filled with alligators and other native wildlife. It is nearly impossible to play a round without spotting a gator. In addition to the 13 holes with water, there are more than 60 bunkers strategically placed throughout. The challenges are balanced by generous greens and wide-open, player-friendly fairways. Panther Run G.C. also boasts an expansive practice facility that includes five practice greens, a short game area with two sand bunkers, and an aqua driving range.

Above average course, great for the price.
The course pace was a little slow but no slower than normal. Got there early and the starter allowed us to join another two some a half hour early. Paid for a twilight rate. Fairways, rough, and traps were beautiful. Greens were average with minimal wear and tear. Well worth the drive from Naples. Don't let the water scare you, it's hardly ever in play.

Front pace was terrible no ranger to push anyone. Back nine nobody in front of us picked 20 minutes that we were behind, then ranger comes out on 17 and wants us to pick up pace. The man had no clue and was totally wrong approaching us the way he did.

Great course
Great course. I played with my son and we had a fantastic time. Pace of play was appropriate. We felt the condition of the course was absolutely superb. The staff is very friendly. We had a very good price on Golfnow. They were able to adjust our tee time from yesterday to today because my son had a test that he did remotely for college so they were very kind about that. Overall excellent although a bit outside of Naples.

Nice Course
It’s a little off the beaten path from many of the other Naples/Ft Myers courses but it was worth the ride. Course was in good shape and nice practice area.

Hidden gem
Have been there twice…. Love the layout …. Greens were a little inconsistent but fair after we played 4 or 5 of them. Was rushed a tad to tee off due to a member tournament but all in all a good day!!
