Panther Run Golf Club

A course which really punches above its weight. If you play on the back tees there is plenty of length, plus the greens are great. All in all a really good course and great value if you play at the right time.

I played this course two days in a row between Christmas and New Years. It is a beautiful course and was in very good shape. Plenty of variety in length (can play up to 7500 yards) and fairways and greens were in great shape.

Only issue I had was some crazy fog on the second day. We asked if things were a “go” and they said yes they were. At least 9 of the holes were played in thick fog, and about 6 of them were what I would call blind golf (couldn’t see the fairway from the tee, couldn’t see the green from the fairway). I would think that they would offer some options for us (start later and play nine), we’ll give you a 9 hole credit on your next round if you go now) but they didn’t. Since I’m not much into complaining (especially on vacation) I didn’t say anything, but I would have felt better if they’d been proactive in offering a few options. That being said, I’ll be back. It’s a nice track and not a bad drive from North Naples.

We played Panther Run last . Nice course. Great greens and fairways. However holes 14 through 18 was cart path only. Not sure why and it wasn’t because the course was wet or recently fertilized. SW Florida has not seen much rain in the past four months. My guess is that management wanted to keep the course “pristine” for both their members and the snow birds arriving after the holidays. Making the last five holes cart path only was ridiculous and considerably slowed down play.

Also the pro shop employee was not very friendly. There was free coffee but we were rudely reminded that the coffee was for members only and that we had to take a cart to a nearby building for coffee. Well we did and guess what….no coffee. Some improvements and attention in communication needed here.

Never a bad time here. You know what you’re getting, and it’s a well maintained course with good pace of play.

The course was absolutely awesome. Greens rolled true and were pretty fast.

Love the new grass! Cart path only on 14 thru 18 due to the new sod, but not a big inconvenience.

Already enjoyed this course every time, prior to renovations. It has gotten even better since then, and the course is pristine. Love this track.

Panther Run was closed for some fall 2021 improvements. Its recently been reopened and the course was in the very good condition. I didn't notice any big course layout changes.

I booked on Golf Now & paid $30 booking fee for 2 golfers. On line at Golf Now it said golf maintenance would start May 1.

We were going to play April 25. When we arrived, 14 fairways were totally brown from chemicals.

The course said if we had booked thru them they would have told us maintenance would have started.

So I lost $30 and will go back to booking at the club & nor Golf Now!
