Located in Ave Maria, Panther Run Golf Club is less than 30 minutes from Naples but it has a much more secluded feel. The course was built with a strong dedication to preserving the landscape's beautiful natural features and significant environmental resources, even as residences started being developed. An abundance of lakes and waterways characterizes the golf course, all of which are filled with alligators and other native wildlife. It is nearly impossible to play a round without spotting a gator. In addition to the 13 holes with water, there are more than 60 bunkers strategically placed throughout. The challenges are balanced by generous greens and wide-open, player-friendly fairways. Panther Run G.C. also boasts an expansive practice facility that includes five practice greens, a short game area with two sand bunkers, and an aqua driving range.

SLOW PLAY!
Played yesterday. We were backed up 3 groups on the tee boxes from the second hole. Unacceptable! They did nothing to speed up play!
Panther Run /// an overall good experience
This is a great course everyone should give it a try. You will not be disappointed. My only negative thing to say is that the location is off the beaten path. It even confused my GPS. With that being said I was a little late for my teatime and the staff was wonderful and accommodating to put me at a later time. Of course condition was awesome though it was a windy day and everyone there is professional you won’t be disappointed congrats to Panther Run on a well run facility with a great course and staff.
Worth the trip and the money
I recommend you play this course while you still can. The area around it is rapidly growing and it may soon be entirely private. Pretty course, well maintained and very good greens. The layout is a bit too open for my liking even if my liking doesn’t match my current abilities. Extremely forgiving and wide fairways make it a pleasure for any level to play. I’ll be back.

Nice course; fair layout
Course is in excellent shape if maybe a little wet. Lots of water in play, but course is really fair off the tee box. Very enjoyable round; we’ll be back.

scenic course
we been playing this course for 3 years now, about 70 miles from home, well worth the drive, course always in great shape, staff friendly, range always open, unless weather dictates,lots of wildlife on or around course, suspect it will become a private course one day, lots of homes going up, we will be back till that happens.

Greens tad rough but overall good
Played today , round was quick finished in about 4 hours with a 3 some. 2 things I just wish they had done better.
1. Letting people know on golf now that the course had be recently arriated . It’s in the later stages of recovery but the greens are very bumpy and slow still.
2. The range balls are a joke, there are about 12 balls in these little bags for nonmembers and it was very difficult to warm up with that few.
Overall good layout and the pace was good.

The staff was friendly and there was tons of gators. Enjoyed the course layout was good, fairways need a little work and the greens were good just not cut today so slow. Look forward to coming back next week.
