When I come to the area I love playing Red Rail but unfortunately the course has really went downhill in condition. Tee boxes are horrible full of weeds, no sand in the bunkers and the greens are in rough shape.

All this and they still charge $65. Hopefully the maintenance crew can turn it around in the great shape it was just a couple years ago. Sweet layout just needs a lot of work.

Always fun to play Red Tail but course conditions not as good as past years. Tee boxes beat up a bit and a fair number of soggy fairways where balls were plugging. Pretty challenging course overall but playable from a variety of tee boxes. Just needs a little more maintenance to stay on our play list.

Probably my biggest pet peeve is the lack of a tee box around 5900 yards. Shorter tees are either 6250 or 5500 with nothing in between.

Nevertheless, challenging in a natural marshland setting with plenty of sand, water and a fantastic but very difficult 18th hole.

Ii typically don’t write reviews, but if I would have seen one like I am writing, I would have played here. If you have a ton of balls to loose play here. If you are 10 yards off center of the fairway you can’t find your ball. The fairways have undulating areas that if you hit it there there is so much water on the course you can’t even get near where you ball is There are several traps full of water just off the fairway with so much slime on them you can’t find your ball. For not having any rain in central Florida for several weeks I have no idea where the water came from except they don’t know how to have any drainage on the course. Don’t waist you time here.

RedTail was a blast. The layout is awesome. We played from 6500 and it was a good test. You can stretch it out much further. Overall the conditions were solid. The greens rolled well and were quick but you can tell they are working to get the conditions even better (only reason I rated that part a 4/5). The price value is outstanding. We are adding this one to the rotation. Drove an hour to get there and it was worth it!!

Played this course before; when it is in good condition it is a great course to play. Tee boxes and some fairways and greens need work.

I play here the most of all the courses I play. I love the layout of the course and the course is always in good condition. The only negative I would have about the course is that a lot of the Tee boxes need work.

The staff is always friendly. The course recently opened up on Mondays again and for $40.00 you just can't beat it.

This course was in good shape for this time of year. The layout is fun until the last 5 holes. These are the toughest finishing holes I ever played. Still it was fun. I would definitely be driving back here again. It's an hour drive but worth it. If you're in the area definitely play this course. We'll worth the price.

Course is coming along nicely. Overall great layout, each hole is different. Greens rolled true, fairways good, bunkers and tee boxes need help. Thing that sold me was the lead manage in the pro shop. I bought a belt and cut it too short like a bozo. Told the guy and he just gave me another one, even tried to pay him but he said it’s on me. Absolute class act, love this place. The restaurant is really nice as well and the carts are phenomenal.

Love the layout. Its a decent course. I won't sugar coat it, definitely has it rought patches but greens roll true and fairways are in decent shape. For $50 on 18 not a bad deal. Will keep playing here.

Haven't played Red Tail for about 6 months because the conditions were so bad! Definitely has improved! About the only negative was bunker conditions; staff said they can't get enough help to do everything!

I will add this course to my regular plays!!

First time playing this course. Layout was fine . Greens ok fairways ok tee boxes need some work. Pace of play was best part. Some interesting holes for sure. We are in the Orlando area for 3 months. Looking to play hopefully alot through Golf now. I would play Red Tail again . A little cheaper would have been perfect.

I love the fact that they look after first responders and the military. The course it self is very decent challenge for all handicaps. The greens are quick and true. The staff are super helpful and make sure you have a good day. The carts have a gps course layout which makes shot making and club selection easy. I would play here again in a heartbeat.

The greens were ok for central Florida. The layout was good, but nothing really memorable. This course has the worst and most uncared for bunkers I have ever seen. Nothing was raked on a Sunday morning. Grass and weeds filled the majority of the bunkers as well. Without bunker problems this would be a 3.8 with I’m going 2.75. I actually would recommend it if you can get it around $40. In my opinion bunkers aren’t that important, but these are terrible.
