Everything and I mean everything needs attention. I lost more in play balls then I do in a month of play at other courses. Greens are terrible, fairways are dismal at best. They don’t cut the fairways like they should. Fairways look like secondary cuts and there is no third cut. If your ball is not perfectly in the fairway, Kiss it bye bye. To be honest they should probably close it for a couple of years and try to recover it. Redtail of the past is no more. :(

This is the worst course condition of any course I have ever played. If you don’t hit dead center of the fairways, your ball will be lost. Crabgrass on the greens make straight putts without being thrown off target by crabgrass near impossible.

The only reason I can’t rate higher is because of the greens. Bring a sand wedge instead of your putter. The greens that aren’t dirt are full of weeds. It’s a shame because the course is otherwise awesome.

The greens were covered in bumpy weeds and had some areas that were not playable the rough was so tall we lost a few balls that we saw land. It’s a cool course and great staff and you can play all day so it’s definitely worth trying again just need to hit more fairways.

This is the worst course I have ever played. Crab grass on greens, hit the fairway and ball disappears in the mud or rolls barely off the fairway into grass that makes it near impossible to find your ball. Lost so many balls and had to spend so much time looking for fairway hits that disappeared we quit after 10 holes. Will not go back.

I have played it before and I love the layout, But the greens need work badly. I don't know if it's an infection of weeds or what the case

Greens could use some work but overall good fun challenging course!!

Overall this course is in ok shape. The greens need improvement as the turf isn’t in the best condition, with some bare patches and many weeds. However, they do roll well overall, not exceptionally fast but not slow either. Some of the fairways have grassy waste areas crossing through them. This is challenging as the rolling fairways hide these areas until you get close. The grass in these areas is tall, so don’t plan on finding any ball hit into them. The rough is also very tall in many areas, so not very forgiving on an errant shot. Fun and challenging course overall, would definitely play here again if the price is right.

The course was great for what it was. Played 27+ holes of golf for $35, so can’t complain too much for that, but it could use some work. The rough was crazy, if you didn’t land your ball in the fairway, good luck finding it, sometimes that’s true even if you hit your ball in the fairway. Greens were fine, not great but fine.

I didn't expect much after reading all those negative reviews but I enjoyed my round here. There are areas that needs improvements but nothing so bad that messes up your play. Staff was friendly and honest about the improvements they are working on. There are people pay $30 and expect to play course 60+ Price was very reasonable and I will be coming back

I understand playing in summer is tougher in Florida but this course was in pretty rough shape. Many greens were completely burnt out and putting through dirt. On many holes as well the rough had been completely ignored and it was like playing Oakmont. Without a great spotter you were losing balls in this rough because it was 6” high.

With some love and maintenance this course has great potential. Layout is great. Challenging shots abound. I’ll try it again in October or November and hopefully it is in much better shape.

For the money it’s a fair deal. The layout of this course is really nice. It’s challenging and the back 9 are really cool around the marsh. But the greens are in sad shape. They also need to cut the rough area and do some better maintenance of the second cuts down the fairway. It seems as though they really aren’t trying that hard to maintain it. Seldom see any workers on the course or near the clubhouse. I have never seen a golf pro there. It could be amazing again if they could just maintain it better. But for the money $30 you can play all day as much as you desire. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Ive played this course probably 5 years ago and it was a great course and in great playing shape. I just played this course again and what a disappointment. The greens, fairways and rough were terrible. Do not expect to play a great course! This course needs new ownership!!

The greens were very patchy. The fairways were not smooth. And if you’re a duffer, bring an extra carton of balls for the overgrowth.

Nice people though. I hope they get it back to form.

I love this course. It feels upscale, yet secluded. The fairways and bunkers are in great shape. The greens are patchy and torn up.
