For the money it’s a fair deal. The layout of this course is really nice. It’s challenging and the back 9 are really cool around the marsh. But the greens are in sad shape. They also need to cut the rough area and do some better maintenance of the second cuts down the fairway. It seems as though they really aren’t trying that hard to maintain it. Seldom see any workers on the course or near the clubhouse. I have never seen a golf pro there. It could be amazing again if they could just maintain it better. But for the money $30 you can play all day as much as you desire. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Ive played this course probably 5 years ago and it was a great course and in great playing shape. I just played this course again and what a disappointment. The greens, fairways and rough were terrible. Do not expect to play a great course! This course needs new ownership!!

The greens were very patchy. The fairways were not smooth. And if you’re a duffer, bring an extra carton of balls for the overgrowth.

Nice people though. I hope they get it back to form.

I love this course. It feels upscale, yet secluded. The fairways and bunkers are in great shape. The greens are patchy and torn up.

Un puttable greens, only plus is its good for driving and iron practice. If get a good hot deal its about the same as a bucket of balls.

With all due respect the current conditions at RedTail are worse than any private course that I have ever played. Multiple greens have huge completely dead or muddy spots 30 sq ft or so, the rough is completely unkempt, fairways overrun by heavy weeds and crabgrass, bunkers growing grass like they’ve been seeded, The only good thing to say about this course is one of the cart attendants actually cared about the job that he was doing and was very attentive and wanted that portion of the experience to go well.

It's a great track and years past I've played there and the conditions were great. But like all things, time changes the course. Greens were damaged with many large patches of just dirt. And where there wasn't dirt, the Poa Annua was everywhere. There was also another kind of weed that had infiltrated the greens. So, tee boxes were dirt, (but I can live with that0, many of the fairways had bare patches. And the rough looked like it hadn't been mowed for months. You hit a ball in there and you'd spend too much time and probably never find it. I went in on one hole and found 6 other balls, but not mine. Sad to see such a great course that due to a lack of maintenance, is in such bad shape.

I had played there sometime ago and I thought the course he’s really nice but this time I went there and there was no grass on the greens or the fairways!

The course was in the worst shape I’ve ever seen it as a matter of fact we quit playing because it was that bad!

That’s a shame that such a nice development as such a horrible golf course! I don’t understand how people can let that golf course get that bed of shape!

Total disappointment! The golf course was in absolutely horrendous condition. The greens were virtually unplayable, being rock-hard and covered in weeds and sand with very little grass. The fairways suffered from similar neglect. It's truly unfortunate, especially considering how much better it was when I played here just two or three months ago.

I had played at Redtail before and was excited to take my friends there who were visiting from out of town.

Sadly, we didn’t finish the round of golf because the conditions were so poor! I have been in the ⛳️ Golf ⛳️ business for over 26 years I would not play there again!!

This used to be a top tier course, but really has gone down. The worst thing was the greens. They were burnt out and had lots of weeds. Just disappointing.

Fantastic layout. Would love to play it in it's prime. Enjoyed my round and pace was excellent.

Sadly, it seems like Red Tail has one foot in the permanent closure grave. Course was in terrible condition. They were still making an effort with saving the greens but the fairways have become overrun with weeds. Carts have had GPS removed, no ball washers at any holes, no water in cooler stations. The list of deficiencies goes on. It is a shame as this used to be a nice course. Feel bad for the homeowners who bought course front lots. It will take a lot of time and resources to return this course to its former condition.

Course is in much worse condition than it was last year. Fairways were Ok but greens were poor.

I haven't played there in over a year. I heard that the course was in better condition. No change in layout, but they removed a lot of the waste/ high grass areas. No clubhouse turn from 9 so you have to order by phone and have someone bring it to you. There was a cart person, but only saw them on hole 8 and they were pretty much out of everything and did not have any sanwiches or hot dogs etc. to offer. Only snacks and very limited assortment. The next time we saw the cart person was on hole 18!!!

Greens sort of slow. Pace of play was terrible even with rangers hep. Weeds in rough

A course that makes you hit the landing zones or you'll be hitting out of hard places. We were a foursome with 3 learners. We let several groups play through. Ranger was nice when he asked us if a foursome could play through. Ranger was a real gentleman and friendly. As for the course, not super bad, but disappointed in the greens, bare and burned spots that made some putts unsuitable. No big deal but had to move the ball to better spots. They are punching the greens in a few weeks. Hope they improve after.
