Eagle Dunes Golf Club

The course is in very good shape. New golf carts, friendly staff. We liked playing the hybrid tees. 5499 yes. Teed off from both white and blue tees. Great for someone over 65.

The course conditions have improved greatly making it an additional course to play after previously removing it from my list.

This course used to be a go to further consistently good greens, then went pretty south. They seem to be coming back a little bit and everything is improving, but still needs some work.

Nice course, very much improved since the last time I played earlier in the year. Conditions were good except for the rough, which was tall and easy to lose balls. Not a lot of water except for a couple of holes but lots of large sand traps. Overall course was challenging but interesting. I'll definitely play here again, I enjoyed it.

I decided to give Eagle Dunes another try since looking from the road it seemed to be OK. It had been about 8 months since I had played there, and it was in terrible condition back then. I was pleasantly surprised at the recent overall conditions of the course and how it has improved. It will now be added to my list of courses to play again.

Love the course and they are making good investments to improve course conditions

All in all a good round of golf. Greens are excellent - albeit a tad slow - but nice and thick. Once the heat is over, they'll probably cut them and they'll be fast as they normally are.

Fairways OK except for some washout areas from all the rain - rough it HIGH.

The course has improved so much in the last year. From Tee to green and everything in between. Only downside is the rough, it will eat your ball

They have done an amazing job bringing this course back. Still a bit bumpy in the rough but the fairways and greens are in fantastic shape! Nice people, terrific value.

Greens is good shape, fairways mosly good. Keep your ball in the middle though. The rough is so rough that you will be spending hours looking for your ball. Seriously though, the rough should be challenging, but this is so badly maintained that it is like wandering around in a pasture. The waste areas also could you a bit of grooming.

Overall, it was ok... maybe if it hadn't taken over 5 hours to play it would have been less frustrating.

We play this course often, it’s a normal part of our rotation. Took my youngest son out for a round after I got out of work. Course has gotten so much better, the fairways are the best I’ve seen them in the 6 plus years I’ve been playing here. The greens are usually very quick and they may be letting them stay slower as to not get burnt out by the Florida heat. There are maybe 2 greens that are hurting but they are working on them. I really hope they keep things as they are, as this is the best it’s played!!

They have obviously been working on the maintenance of the course. The fairways and greens were in good condition. Still have some rough spots here and there in the fairways but a lot better condition than it was in February of this year. The greens were nice but very soft.

Always a fun track to play.

I have played the this course numerous times but not recently. Read many of the reviews. So didn’t know what to expect. Course was better than expected. Tee boxes were ok. Fairways were solid. Greens were a bit slow due to recent rain. A few greens had some small weed issues but really didn’t affect the roll of your putt. I got a hot deal for $20 which was an awesome deal for the course. Will definetly be back.
