best kept 9 hole in bay area
Excellent value, course is well kept. Not crowded on weekend, nice elevation changes, beautiful greens and bunkers.
Pretty bad experience
I went here with my brother because it was the cheapest course around and my brother had never really played before. While I knew it wouldn't be Pebble Peach, it really was a terrible course. The front staff was not very helpful and throughout many of the holes, we had to dodge the guy who watered the course. On 2 holes he was spraying the green and just told us to ignore him... are you kidding me?
Well maintained course
The course is well maintained and has some wonderful par 3 & 4 challenges.
Good value 9-hole
Decent 9-hole, well maintained. Pro shop and Range attendant were not very helpful.
one of my favorite and most practical courses
MHGC is the best course around heeling your game. its not too short not too long. Though the staff is a little grumpy from time to time, it is worth the bother.
Fun, little course on which to practice all aspects of your game.
Quick and easy access, this is a fun course to play.
Well maintained short course!
While not a long for an excutive course, it can be somewhat challenging. There are 3 holes that may require a driver or wood but for the most part, irons are the play. Well maintained and a value for the money. Would certainly play this course again!
Great 9-hole course
The course was pretty busy, but everyone was playing ready golf so there wasn't too long a wait for teeing off at each hole. The course is very walkable, but there are carts available. I used Hot Deals to get a great price, but during checkin they couldn't find my reservation. But since I had the print out, there was no issue getting me on the course. So be warned, if you do get a Hot Deal tee time here, there may be issues at checkin so bring a printed receipt.
The course for your short game.
This course is short and a great place to work on iron and wedge game. The pace of play was not an issue mostly seniors out enjoying a 9 hole round. This course is good for beginners so they can work on their game and not slow the pace of play on 18 hole course. Note... the greens are fast even when wet they force you to make perfect putts and control your speed... Perfect place to warm up before hitting 18 hole course.
Good place to play after a storm
Unlike some of the nearby courses, this course drains reasonably well following a storm. As expected, the greens were soft but kept good condition without a huge number of ballmarks. Not overly crowded, without long waits.
9 holes only
I often go to this course and it's enjoyable. There are quite a few times that I just want to play alone and they often work it so that I can. I am new at golf only 1 year and I still find this one challenging and fun. The food is great too.
easy par 3 course, but nice to play
it's an easy course to play, no long par 3's. The staff is friendly and the course is in nice condition. The greens were a little soft, but it did rain the day before. It is a good course for beginners or if you need practice with your irons.
Very well maintained.. Freindly Staff and fun course
The price could not be beat.. The course is in great condition and has two pro shops, a full service restaurant/bar and a covered driving range. It is an enjoyable course to play.
Bang for your buck
For what I paid for this was more than getting a "bang for your buck". The place was clean and the course for a 9 hole is the best in there is in this side of the Bay Area.
Staff (Lady) is not friendly to customers
The course is good except for the pro shop staff (Lady) is rude and unfriendly. I would rather play other courses than ruin my day talking with an unfriendly Lady staff. All the starters and other staff are great and friendly except for this Lady. I don't know why the mission hils and Skywest golf course can tolerate a rude behavior specially on their pro shop. Not a good attitude specially for the kids.
