The Lincoln Hills Golf Club - Hills Course

I played Lincoln Hills last weekend and the course is in great shape right now. The pace of play was a little slow, but overall it was a great day!

Everything was great except the pace of play. Almost 5 hours. I don't know why this course plays so slow.

Have been playing these courses since they opened. I played the Hills Course today which I prefer over the Orchard Course though they are both very nice courses. The fairways were in very good shape as were the greens. The greens were a little fast but you just have to adjust. Beginners would have a nice time on this course, not real hard but fair. They had the snack bar open today, haven't seen that in awhile. Always stop in after a round and have something to eat and drink, very nice and very affordable. As I always put in my comments, this is a golf course not a resort, you get what you pay for. I would recommend this course to everyone.

The layout was nice and open. Greens had been aerated recently so the roll wasn't the best. Quite a few geese on one hole. Good facility and staff.

Tee boxes and greens are in rough shape due to the heavy traffic on the course. Players rarely repair ball marks which leads to even worse conditions.

Play for $20 or less is possible.

Golfed here before on the second course, this time chose the Hills side which was pretty nice. However there is no turn, not only no turn but no cart person either. When we got back at 3:30 the restaurant and clubhouse was closed. Bummer I like to get a beer and a bite but that was not an option. Lastly we were on a hole and the sprinklers came on and we got soaked! Not cool.

The Hills course is in good condition and is always well maintained. In this resort type course, the greens are somewhat difficult but the fairways are great. I would recommend it to anyone especially using the GolfNow fees.

I am a fair weekend golfer. The course was well groomed and moderately challenging. The fairways and greens were clean and uniform.

The place is beautiful, well trimmed and clean except for the restrooms, the least favorite to maintain I guess. The Course is pretty challenging if you are not familiar with the layout, but I scored average for a lady teeing from the white. Some of the tee boxes have barely grasses on them, mostly in the back nine, I don't know why. But overall it was a nice round of golfing for me. Great place and I wish the staff are more helpful and friendlier.

Really liked the raised T's and greens. Lots of elevation change to accommodate in club selection.

I love the courses at Lincoln Hills, but crab grass is taking over the fairways and the greens are not in as good of shape as they were 2- 3 months ago. Hopefully ot os just an annual occurrence and will ne taken vare of soon.

Great place to play, starter was friendly and helpful. Course was in good condition.

Have not played this course in a couple years but wanted to put in a practice round for an upcoming tournament there. What a disappointment! The fairways were spotty and either burnt crisp or sparse and muddy. The tee boxes were uncut and unkept. It was a very hot afternoon but the usual conveniences of drinking water on the course was very sparse. Overall, not a value for the discounted $48 fee on a Wednesday morning.

On the other hand, the greens were decent and true.

The staff is always friendly...The grounds are always in great condition...

Had a great day. Both courses are great to play at Lincoln. Hill and Orchard, Driving range and chipping area are very nice . The price was very reasonable, all though the cart girl was not around very much but everyone was very friendly.I would definitely recommend this course

This course in the past has been a premier must play test. I played in a foursome who plays this course quite regularly and we all agreed on our assessment. We definitely see some course deterioration and lack of attention. Areas previously mowed are no longer being mowed. Many places on the course are being overrun with large clumps of crabgrass. Most of the greens have ball marks which previously have not been properly repaired. Don't get me wrong, I will still play the course, but I hope the establishment will take a closer look and see what we were seeing yesterday.
