The Lincoln Hills Golf Club - Orchard Course

The lack of marshals here is unacceptable… We all start somewhere and not everyone is expected to be Tiger Woods BUT not holding customers accountable and letting people fall holes behind affects pace of play for others especially when they aren’t taught to let other’s play through. 5+ HOUR rounds should never be acceptable. The course is in great shape, too bad we spent 3 of our 5 hours watching a pow wow on each fairway and green.

The only complaint I have is pace of play…. We were stuck behind 3 twosomes all day. Our round took 5 hours, but easily could have taken 4 without the waiting on every shot.

The course was good but they squeezed in a tournament in front of our group. Front 9 was fine but the Shotgun Tournament started on the 9th hole. It was slow play after that.

If you tee off early, it's better to ask if a Shotgun tournament group will be inserted during your round.

Way to many hard pins on side bills, ridges, kind of ridiculous

First time here and my only disappointment was that it rained, not a lot but enough to make the course more of a challenge. The staff at check in was friendly and the pro shop was well stocked. Even with a start of a slight drizzle I was surprised to see the cart person making their rounds. The starter had me all set up and was friendly. I asked for directions to the first tee and the employee was also friendly and helpful.

I usually buy something from the pro shop and grab a bite to eat after the round but since I was cold and wet I just wanted to get to a hot shower. I will play here again but this time in the summer.

Grumpy old men playing very slow in front of us would not let us through. We could clearly see no one for two holes ahead of them. No marshals and no one responding to our calls made the day go longer than it should have.

IT WAS A GREAT VALUE WITH "HOT DEALS" & REWARD POINTS

I was hoping for a nice day on the course. Was met with Poot course conditions. Clumps of grass everywhere, bogs and swamps on almost every fairway, and no refreshment options while on the course.

I have never seen a course allow a single player to jump in a “gap” between groups. There was a player that said the course was letting him jump in the gap and it slowed our game down. After that happened, the group behind us was on our tail. They shot into our group once.

Greens were good and so were the sand traps, but everything else could use some work.

I cannot believe that the slope is so low…orchard course is ever long and challenging.

Fairways are in good shape. Greens were in decent condition.

Good place to play.
