Fun course with some course condition issues
Everything was great about our round from value to weather to pace of play. The only issue I had was there are a lot of fairways that need attention. Weed issues and patchy grasses. The bunker replacements need a lot of work. Also appears that no one who plays this course knows how to repair a ball mark. Whoever plays here frequently should show a little more respect for the course.
Course Needs Better Maintenance
Fairways except for the last three holes had crabgrass patches, long unmowed grass near some greens, many bare spots, and unraked bunkers. The final three holes had well-maintained fairways. It felt like I was playing a different course on the finishing three holes.
Little slow today?
Got to play a fun round with my golf buddy and we had a really nice guy as a third. Play was a little slow greens were tough. One was quick one was slow, etc. not much consistency, the fairways were pretty spongy a lot of weeds in the grass. We obviously need to do some treatment for the weeds. It’s always a good time. Look forward to coming back.
Slowwwwwww
3 hour front 9 on Orchard. I played 10 and then decided to give up. No marshall or ranger on site. Premium prices for muni experience. When driving back there was 3 slow foursomes on 11,12, and 13. Then, 14 foursome but a hole behind. 15 foursome. And hole 16, 17, and 18 - not one group. Disappointingly pour. Starter should be at the 1st tee not at the range.
Takeaways - front desk staff friendly, except for the gray haired ladymanish.
You should drg teat the cart barn guys.
Old people that live there don’t like to start for cart crossing, stay cautious!
This course has a great layout.
My only complain is that the greens were a bit soft/spongy.
Course needs attention
Fairways and greens are in decent shape, especially considering the very HOT summer, but the lack of attention to restrooms and fountain facilities is depressing as is the overgrown nature of rough - don't even think about finding a ball off the fairway. also, cart GPS system needs adjustment as I was constantly forced to reverse direction despite being nowhere near an out-of-bounds or inappropriate area. This added at least 20-30 minutes to my round. Only course I know of where cart GPS is a detriment to my experience.
Fun course
Good course, good pace of play. Needs 2 refreshments carts not just one. Will play again.
Slow
Pretty good course. Ok conditions. Pace of play was horrible. They stack the tee times and the group in front was very slow
5 Hour Rounds are Unacceptable!
The lack of marshals here is unacceptable… We all start somewhere and not everyone is expected to be Tiger Woods BUT not holding customers accountable and letting people fall holes behind affects pace of play for others especially when they aren’t taught to let other’s play through. 5+ HOUR rounds should never be acceptable. The course is in great shape, too bad we spent 3 of our 5 hours watching a pow wow on each fairway and green.
