The Lincoln Hills Golf Club - Orchard Course

Sold us a tee time without a warning us that they were going to put us right behind a 8 person scramble. They assured us they would keep up the pace of play. Took us 5 hours to play 14 holes and we called it quits after that. Fairways are in bad shape. They are removing all the bunkers, the only thing that made the course challenging. They wouldn't offer a discount or partial refund of our round. Never playing there again.

Great day of golf and nice to see the sand traps are finished and reopened and in fantastic condition.

Course was in good condition considering they punched the greens about 2 weeks ago. Still getting used to the new layout but the new sand traps are finished and are in fabulous condition.

I had a lot of fun on the course. the greens have been punched and still needed to grow in. also there was some pretty bare spots in the fairways where the grass hasn't quite taken yet I guess from wintergrass to Summer. I had a blast pet playing the course.

I haven’t lived in this area since 2006 but moved back in Oct 2022. I played the old hills course back the. And liked it. First time playing the Orchard, joined another twosome and had a blast! Great guys, fun layout, some rough spots on the course, looks like they’ve done a lot of work, removing bunkers and recently punched the greens. Overall great time, had a good ballstricking day. Made a couple of birdies and an eagle on a short par 5. Very difficult with the shape of the greens, best round in a while so I’ll definitely be back! Finished in under four hours.

Can’t complain, I birdied hole 18 and two more. I’m happy!

Good course but bc of layout you HAVE TO take a cart. The holes are really really spread out and I didn’t like that part of it.

Overall the course was okay. Lots of empty bunkers due to rebuilding of all the bunkers on the course. The fairways have a lot of bare spots, so, your hitting ball off the hard pan in the fairway could happen pretty often. The greens are in pretty good shape, but there is deep scaring due to aeration all around the edging of the greens. Will wait for the finishing of the bunkers and the fairways to grow back before play again.

Went back to this course for the first time in years, and was very disappointed. Very poor conditions in fairways and tee boxes, dead grass & bare spots all over. The greens were pretty good, smooth and fast with very few blemishes. Other courses in the area aren't nearly as bad, so you can't just blame it on winter conditions.

It seemed like most or all bunkers are being rebuilt and worked on. Many bunkers have been removed and/or made smaller, so that should make the course even easier to play.

The pace of play was horrible, nearly 5 hours, and only because many people simply quit out of frustration. We finished in near darkness as the sun was setting.

I've played here before and like the course, but this time literally all the bunkers were removed and they were redoing them (I guess). The area around them was messed up too (new? sod) which was all "ground under repair." They should put something on here so people know what they are paying for. Its not a $75 course in its present condition.

We were NOT told prior to play that the course is under total renovation! In addition, when we made the reservation on Golf Now - there was NO notation as to the conditions. All of the bunkers are torn up and unplayable There were construction workers on the course. When we went back to the Pro Shop, they told us they felt bad for charging customers full price when the course was in such bad condition. Players beware before you schedule a tee time.

All of the bunkers on the course are being renovated. Whether infilled or redone at a smaller size. Greens were in good condition. Credit card machine was down in restaurant, we asked the pro shop if there was a way to get cash back to make a purchase from the restaurant. Response was “we are not an ATM”. Very unprofessional when we’re trying to find a way to purchase goods from their establishment. Maybe explain they only have enough cash for their operations, sorry for the inconvenience. Had a frost delay and they’re starters we’re on the ball getting people on the course best they could.

There was a frost delay and unfortunately, we were not made aware of this.

The staff were not very pleasant informing us that the course was and chipping green were closed due to frost.

The starter, Paul, seemed to have things under control when it opened up at 9.30am and despite the backlog of players was very friendly with the many golfers that were waiting to get out there.

The greens and fairways were in great shape, the pace was wonderful and the overall course was rewarding to good shots. I was surprised to have paid $70 for a tee time when I found that several holes were under major construction, specifically the bunkers. My playing partner and I were hesitant to tee off on several holes due to construction workers walking all over the fairway and bunkers. Knowing that the course was being repaired would have significantly impacted my decision on playing at this price.

We couldn’t finish the round of golf and got rushed off the front 9. They had a 9 hole Tournament. When we checked in never said a thing about the tournament. I took the day off from work to play golf and have fun. But didn’t get the chance to do that. Talked to a young man name Eddie at the front desk and he was completely rude and told us it wasn’t his doing. I play this course all the time and it keeps getting worse every time.
