The Green are very good, gras is perfection Green and fairways. You should playone there
Nice course, it was very dry for lack of water
This is a nice course although it has a problem if you get there early as they will not check you in as you arrive so they will not give you a cart to go to the range which is a long way from the proshop to carry your clubs there and back.
Usually it is in reasonable good shape but yesterday it looked burnt and dry as we have not had much rain in South Florida for over two weeks.
the good and bad....
Good: two people really know what they are doing, the head greens keeper and the head waitress. Except for the tee boxes on the front, course and especially the greens were great.
Bad: two people that have no clue what they are doing, the manager and the head pro. Can't pay for your round until just before you tee off. They will not take your money. And no cart keys until you pay. Really? Can't get to and from the driving range? Chipping green? No off loading area for cars / clubs. Many folks carrying their own clubs from their car, through the parking lot, around the club house to load a cart that wasn't there for them. What a mess.....
Great Value and Fast Greens
Wasn't sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. Fairways could be irragated better but the greens were immaculate and were crazy fast - which made the course more challenging. For peak season, $40 was a steal.
Perhaps one drawback is that we weren't allowed to take carts to the range and had to walk a bit instead. Will go back at some point
Public Golf Course
Typical Florida flat layout with some water holes. Nothing crazy. Public municipal style clubhouse and restaurant. Good food at restaurant. Some tee boxes ard chewed up and aome are good. Greens are excellent. Some holes have beer caps and butts on the ground. For $28 in Florida on a weekend, I would go back.
Solid Course - Solid Value
Good Course that is reasonably priced during on season although off-season rates are too high. Some of the newer employees are not as good or customer oriented as their long term employees are and need to learn from them. They run some good specials in the bar/dinning area and food is good. Cart specials are nice. Course is solid and in decent shape. Very playable from the appropriate tee boxes and challenging enough.
