Windy Harbor Golf Club

Very challenging course on windy days, which is almost every day you play the course. It is very forgiving because of the design of multiple fairways next to each other. They have done a good resurrecting the greens. Outstanding course for the price.

Overall a good day. The weather has not yet been consistently hot/warm enough to allow grasses to germinate and grow so greens and tee boxes are a bit on the choppy side and a biti inconsistent green speeds. But overall it’s aways a good time and an opportunity to meet some new people. In this case however I was paired up with someone I had played with before so that was fun.

The Windy Harbor golf course if a friendly layout. The back nine seems to always be affected by a generous wind off of the ocean.

The conditions are fair as it is winter. The pace of play can be uneven depending on the group in front of you.

Windy Harbor fits the bill as a municipal type course. The back nine is always a challenge as the course deserves its name. Holes play long accordingly. Fairways a generous so the average golfer will enjoy the course.

You'll fall in love with this course. No hills to speak of, twists and turns and plenty of water. You dana miss it if you're capable. Make it one of your preferred stops.

Play was quick just under four hours. Greens rolled true. Large fairways kept ball in play but course was still challenging with wind and water hazards. Some ground under repairs but was adequately marked.

Great value as we ordered hotdogs, Gatoraid and chips for our foursome and it was less than $20. Cart hostess was friendly and helpful.

Definitely worth getting your MWR card. Will be playing again soon.
