About
Windy Harbor Golf Club is a military golf course located at the Mayport Naval Station, it was formerly known as the Mayport Golf Club. The seaside course now takes its name from the blustery ocean breezes that sweep through the back nine. The golf course is narrow with tree-lined fairways and large, fast greens that are slightly sloped. There is also a defined cut of rough beside every fairway. Greenside bunkers and water hazards that come into play on nearly every hole make the course challenging for players of all abilities. Windy Harbor Golf Club also has practice facilities for golfers to use that include a driving range with grass and carpeted practice tees, a practice sand trap, and a large putting green.

Great day golfing
We had a great day golfing, weather was really nice , a little wind on 12 and 13, but that's in the name. Greens are at top condition now , only a few minor spots left . Will play again soon

Really Nice Course
In general the course is in great shape, very playable and walkable from green to next tee. Layout is challenging with water and tree lined fairways throughout. The only negative is there are areas on the greens that have been under repair for quite a while, though, rest of green is in great shape. Occasionally you need to move your ball to avoid putting or chipping into the repair spots (getting fewer and fewer of these). Play here often and will keep coming back.

Deceivingly difficult
Nice course, second time playing WH. A 10-11 handicapper can be under 40 going out, however, the wind and challenge begin on the back nine. Definitely a course to play, just wish I was closer.

Real players
For those who can actually play golf, The greens are just fine. There are some repaired spots still growing but overall the greens are really nice. For the price, this place is a steal. Don’t listen to others, come see for yourself.
Terrible Greens
Being a Military golf course one would think they could get the greens fixed. The practice green has been down for months now. Carts could use some new batteries so they can get through 18 holes. As far as cost goes it is worth the money as long as you can get a discount code, would not pay full price.

Course was in pretty dang good shape, greens were rolling true. Absolutely worth playing, the price point just makes it that much better.
First time, nice
First time playing Windy Harbor, just got my MWR card, lol. Will return and encourage friends to get their MWR card so we can play. Nice course, tough, tough, tough rough. Greens were hard, but nice.
