Windy Harbor Golf Club

Always enjoy playing Windy Harbor and the new greens have made it challenging like never before. They putt well and true, but hard holding approach shots. New sand in bunkers is nice if it's been raked 😫

Fairways are in great condition and the rough is thick and penalizing at times but that's golf. Bogeys and pro shop staff are always providing excellent service.

The new greens are great, fairways and tees are in decent shape.

The weather was very windy making the course very challenging but we had to quit with 4 holes to go and

we’d already been on the course for over 5 hours. As we went, we noticed that no one was on 17 or 18. Some group was at least 2 holes behind and nothing was done. They really need to have course Marshall on the weekend..

Good challenging golf course with excellent staff! The recently rebuilt greens are good and will get better. Sand traps much improved.

My first time playing windy harbor,the course is in great shape, greens are fast, fairway in good condition, course is open but challenging with some water and blind shots.

I've played this course well over 500 times in 50 years. The current layout dating back about 30 years is very nice and usually the course is in very god to excellent condition. This time we found many greens with tufts of spikey grass all over them, making putting simply a game of luck. Something to do with transitioning the grass?? Even if that is the case, mowing them more frequently would remove the problem to a great extent.

I play Windy Harbor weekly. The course is usually in great condition but they are shutting the course down in March for a 6 month refurbish. As such, they have not maintained the greens and tee boxes as they normally would have..

They are redoing the greens, bunkers, and other improvements during this time.

The course should be fantastic when they open back up in September.

I wish they would have warned me before I paid to play this course. This course was my favorite for a long time. I never would have imagined the greens to get so bad. The fairways were as expected for this time of year, however the greens were so horrible. This is not from the weather, someone does not know how to do their job. I’m sorry, I will not be returning unless someone post amazing reviews.

I've played Windy for 5 years and from time to time there's been some fungus or slight lack of attention in terms of upkeep. In between all that its been a great course at a decent price. Today was shocking - turns out they are shutting down in 4 weeks for course alterations so they just stopped all work short of mowing. The fairways and greens are a mess. The only green is weeds on the greens resulting in bumpy non true putts. Management should be ashamed and cut prices in half until fixed.
