Shadow Ridge Golf Club

The course was in great shape. The greens were very undulating, not a problem for putting so much as approach shots. Pins were put in tough positions, more for pro players than vacation golfers

Usually get 4-5 rounds in here each year and it’s always in great condition making the 1.5 hour drive worth it. Today experienced a blow out day, 30+ winds, dust, debris making it extremely tough conditions but still fun.

Nice variety of shots required and layout is challenging but fair.

Disappointed that a course this expensive didn’t have wind screens on the golf carts.

best conditioned course played this year. Beat Pga West Stadium and JW Marriott courses by far. Worth to play for sure

The course was awesome. The staff did a great job. I will definitely be back.

Wife and I got out for a mid-morning year. Check in was easy. Friendly staff all around. Range is very nice, Putting green also nice. Overseed is setting in nicely so green fairways.

This was the first of 3 rounds we played over the week, but it definitely was the hardest, especially around the greens. Chipping the greens was pretty tough I thought. Normally a pretty strong part of my game, but I continually found myself putting 15-20ft putts for par.

Really a great course and we'll definitely be getting out there again. But next time we'll make the finale.

Really like the course. Given COVID eliminated all food and beverage options, the price should have been adjusted.

Play was a little slow. Three guys ahead who should have moved up one or even two tee boxes.

The course was in good condition. Made a tee time and showed up as scheduled. Teed off on time and immediately hit a wall of groups in front of us. It took well over 2 and a half hours to play front nine. Went off on the back nine and after 3 holes quit. It took 1 hour and 15 minutes to play 3 holes. Our tee off was at 12:10 and based on the pace of play, we would have never finished.

I complained to guest services which they responded that I would hear back from the golf management. Never heard back.

The course is a nice course in good condition but at the rates they charge and with the pace of play there are many more better options in the greater Palm Springs area.

Shadow Ridge is a high end course that is coming out of overseeding well. The course offers various challenges with numerous bunkers. Greens are still slow at this time and will be tougher to handle when they get quicker. I couldn't help notice how few players there were on the course... maybe lower your prices to get some more play??? Also a marshal to combat slow play would help. It was a 4+ hour round primarily because there were numerous singles and twosomes. Anything wrong with the starter maybe combining groups??? Just a thought. Thanks to GolfNow for getting a lower rate. Why does every decent golf course have to cost $100+ ???

Just a great course with great landscape and views. The green were good but slows and will get better as the course has only been reopened for a couple weeks after seeding. Fairways were in perfect shape.

The staff was courteous but not over friendly. An outstanding experience I would recommend to everyone.

A fun Nick Faldo designed layout that was in excellent shape from tee to green. Would play again.

Had a good time but they should give you a brake on what you pay for when you really have to walk the course. I’m a Handicap and wouldn’t get a break to be able to drive up to my ball. I follow the rules but when I’m waiting to hit my ball and watching people drive up to there ball and not think of the rules not once did we see a Marchel out there. I got an email telling me the rules. When I asked if I could use my Handicap Card I was told no I couldn’t. So we need to come up with better rules.

We’ll maintained course and staff was great! Will comeback when COVID ends.
