Shadow Ridge Golf Club

We searched for a course to walk and GolfNow stated on their site that Shadow Ridge allowed walking. Staff at the course stated walking wasn’t allowed under any circumstance. Sadly this the norm....not appreciating that walking doesn’t slow down the masses that courses are trying to pack on the course.

Loved the layout of this course - challenging but fair. Greens were fast and extremely tricky. Overall an enjoyable day.

We were the pacesetters for the day. Finished the course in an easy 3 hours and 3 minutes. Lots of bunkers, Greens were well protected. Fast greens, Longer par 3's, Beautiful condition.

Terrible replay rate with lots of openings available

This course had a great layout and everything was in pristine conditions. Only negative thing I would have to say is there was no beverage cart that came around until the 11th hole

A beautiful, pristine course. It's not easy though and shot selection after the tee shot and into greens is key.. Greens are undulating with nary a flat spot anywhere. All holes require mental and physical challenges. The pro shop was must gracious in rescheduling our time to the next day so we didn't have to play in rain and cold. There are NO windshields on the carts. They did put a single player in between us and the foresome ahead which held us up at times. Not sure why they would not group them with another party. They often played 2 balls on the same hole while we waited for them. No marshall on course. Watch out for non golfers walking/playing on course areas.

We got a deal on golf now for Wednesday dec 3 because it was raining that day so we got on for $60 bucks. We were not planning on playing it on this trip due to the huge amount of choices there is in Palm Springs. But boy am I glad we did. I absolute loved this course by far my most favourite course we played for my first trip to Palm Springs. We played la Quinta mountain ,stadium course, dessert dunes, and a few other ones I can’t remember the names of. The lay out the perfect greens was perfect for an 18 cap lol. We tried to get back on to play it but it was booked solid. If you are in Palm spring and looking to play one of the best courses there in. Then shadow ridge is the on for you.

PS. I was not paid by the Marriott or any ones else for writing this review lol. I just loved that course so much and will definitely be in my list for a couple rounds next trip.

Course in great shape after overseeding. Staff friendly and accommodating. Played round on a busy day in 4:30.

Course in great condition. Played early in the morning. 3.5 hours to complete the round.

Booked online and got a much better price than rack rate as can be expensive to play here. Nice but expensive

The people in front of us were asked several times to speed up but it made no difference in their play.

The marshalls response to our group was we were to fast. I guess he didn’t notice the two groups backing up behind us.

This was our first time playing here. The course was very well maintained, the holes had good variety and had plenty of challenge. We were 10 minutes shy of a 5 hour round, however. Fortunately, the weather was great so all of the waiting was not miserablly uncomfortable.

Shadow Ridge should be a “must play” if your in Palm Desert or Palm Springs. The staff is very friendly. The practice facility is first class. The course is laid out well

and well maintained. An golf school and fitting facility is on property which is a plus. Highly recommend.

What a fabulous golf course, wonderful layout. Greens are bit slow at this time of the year. Totally enjoyed my time at Shadow Ridge golf course. I recommend this as one of Palm Desserts best!

Everything is perfect there, from the layout to the views. The staff friendlyness is also remarkable.
