Callippe Preserve Golf Course

Absolutely nothing to complain about. Course was in excellent condition. Greens and fairways were firm and green. Rough was penalizing enough. Bunkers had fresh sand. Bartenders were cool but didn't try any food other than some fries which were good. Will be back.

Had an excellent afternoon on this very well maintained and laid out course. Fairways and greens were in fantastic shape. The hazards and traps are well placed but not too difficult. I am not a great golfer, usually shoot about 100, but very much enjoyed Callippe's design, scenery, and wildlife.

I booked at 12:50 pm on Golfnow App, but it changed to 1:32 pm without any prior notice. I got discount but barely finished the round in the dark due to slow pace. I still don't know why it happened.

7:50am tee time, twosome, smooth 4.5 hr round even with a 4some in front of us. Course was in excellent shape, got out before tournament which was nice.

Would have given 5 stars but they actually had multiple flag colors incorrectly place...red in the back of geeens, whites up front, blues up front.

Very strange, first time I have seen this anywhere. I meant to say something to the pro shop but forgot.

Course had a Challenging layout, greens, fairways, bunkers, etc. Require finesse. However, there were no course marshalls to be found, and pace of play was about the worst I've seeb... 2 hours and only 4 holes into the back 9, I gave up and went home. Waited 10 minutes on each tee, and had to wait for every subsequent shot. Absolutely ridiculous.

I love the lay out" the front and the back are quite different. Some holes are long while others are shorter but challenging.

Nice course. Got to keep it in the fairway. Rough is very thick. Greens run true.

This is a beautiful course. This round was a little strange, as myself and partner had a 10:20 tee time and got off early and appeared we had the course to ourselves. Just as soon as I made this comment to my partner the course got backed up. 5 1/2 hour round with no marshal to keep the place of play. This happens at most courses on the weekend, however, this course is not inexpensive so it would be nice if pace of play was monitored. It is well kept up, water on the course cold and provided.

The course was in great shape, but with our 9:10 tee time we did not tee off until 9:25, and waited on almost every shot all day long.

My friends and I play Callippe quite a bit and we like playing there because the course conditions are always on point...especially the greens, and the golf course is a favorite because of the challenge to create shots. The staff are consistently delivering the type of service every golfer expects, prompt, courteous, and respectful. Thats why I keep coming back!

Very nice course conditions every time I have played here. Caught a golfnow deal so it was a good bargain. Interesting course that makes you think on almost every single shot. I will play here more often, using the golfnow deals.

Staff was very nice. Course was in good shape, a little wet on hole #1. Not a course for beginners. Many blind shots and areas that you must be able to carry or your score will be higher than you like.

Would play this course again now that I have seen the layout.

First time playing the course. As other reviews noted, playing with others who have played the course was extremely helpful. Lots of blind greens and crossings. They were getting the course ready for a tourney and they were doing a good job of watering (too much?). The fairways and greens were in really good shape. Super good deal for $36 with a cart. Some of the bunkers were super wet but others (I found too many of them lol) were good and the ball came out well.

Good layout with some variations.
