Callippe Preserve Golf Course

The only complaint I have is there where no marshals managing pace of play. There was one group holding up about three groups and it was wide open infront of the slow group. I did not see any marshals managing this which resulted in a 5 hour plus round and waiting on every hole. The course was in great shape from all the rain and the staff was extermely friendly. Just wish they would manage slow golfers a little better.

Callippe winds through gentle hills and has a nice variety of doglegs and elevation changes, very well designed. Greens and fairways are well maintained, and the rough isn't too punishing. Grain seems to play a big part in the speed and breaks on greens. If I didn't live so far away, I would choose this course as my home course.

nothing like playing golf with your golf buddies. The course was in good shape, fairways were clean nicely mowed. the greens were bumpy and slower than the last time I played so I was more aggressive shooting to the pin. lot of up hill for so add extra club on certain holes. overall great day, I like and enjoy the course, guess why I keep coming back to play.

This course has a nice layout with some challenging holes, and it was in good shape and the wind was down during the round. There are some holes that are pace of play killers -- or always seem to be. I'm not sure if they actually do anything to help with pace of play. We were moving along and then got to the par-3 4th hole. We were the fourth group waiting on the hole. By the time we got to the 10th, we were the fifth group on the hole. We told the pro-shop that we were going on the front nine again (we've done this several rounds before, and they didn't seem surprised). If the course would just do something -- anything -- to move the pace of play, it'd be a really nice course. I'd recommend this course with the caveat to be prepared for a long, frustrating round.

Callipe is a fun course, it was in great shape. Only thing I didn't enjoy was the 5 hour game, the pace of play was awful and not 1 martial was seen on course. Tee off around 11:40am finished at 5pm, the 4some in front of us had 6 carts at her box waiting. Other wise go check out the course it's a fun one

I like everything this course could offer but the pace, I have two groups of foursome in front of me and I have to wait for every single shot literary

The course was in great condition from the level tee boxes to the manicured fairways and true rolling greens.

I’ll start by saying this is a fun course to play . Having a 12:20 pm tee time we figured we should have no problem getting all 18 holes in . Well that was shot because due to frost they were backed up 3 hours . They did a shot gun start at 10 am to get everyone out but then slipped in groups wherever there was a small gap . This was a bad idea , pace of play was horrible two and even three group back up at every hole . So 4 1/2 round got through 14 holes . Not a good experience

Great course. Challenging in that you really need to think your way through this course. Fairways are narrow but first cut slopes towards the fairway.

They had a two hour frost delay which was a problem for the staff. However, the were friendly and worked hard to get me out near my tee time at 12:28pm. I was really impressed with the service.

We teed off on time 1:12pm, staff friendly, excellent value, but there was just no way we could finish before sunset. There were 4-5 groups all backed up behind several that were walking the course. I overheard the group ahead of us, a threesome, with one walker. These guys were no way capable of playing the blue tees, and heard that All of them were first time players at this course. Recklessly unwise to 1, play the blue tees, 2, walk with a 1pm tee off. We got 16 holes in but that was it.

Absolutely nothing to complain about. Course was in excellent condition. Greens and fairways were firm and green. Rough was penalizing enough. Bunkers had fresh sand. Bartenders were cool but didn't try any food other than some fries which were good. Will be back.
