Killian Greens Golf Club

The course was in much better condition that I had expected. The greens were pretty-well groomed. There was plenty of water hazards. The landscaping was alittle thin. It may not be my first choice but it is an excellent back -up and clearly a good value

As much as I love to walk a good golf course, I don’t think you can mix a Ferrari with a Hyundai on the same track. You’ve gotta figure out how to let the walkers play and leave a big gap because the ones in the golf cart might as well walk as well.

This course appears to have been let go and they are trying to get it back into shape. It will take some time so I would wait a year or so before playing it.

Some greens were not in their best shape. However, that was not an issue.

I was by myself and, as it turned out, played by myself.

I signed up to play with other two guys, but another two appeared out of nowhere and I was left by myself.

Not the best way to play for the first time in the course.

Conditions are poor. Lots of ground under repair and bare spots. No range. Cary’s are old and loud. Definitely not worth what they charge.

We were two foursomes playing.

At 10th hole a twosome appeared suddenly in between our group.

Not a nice issue to resolve.
