Killian Greens Golf Club

About
Popular among locals, the course at Killian Greens Golf Club is affordable and challenging. The golf course is quite narrow and built on flat terrain, making it easy to walk. Although there is little elevation change, the greens are sloped and firm. The fairways are narrow and there are sand bunkers situated throughout the course. Canals and lakes create water hazards that come into play on 14 holes. The course features three sets of tees to adapt the game to a variety of different skill levels and abilities. Killian Green Golf Club also boasts a special learning program for kids on their practice course.

Brutal Pace
I get it, maximizing revenue. However the pace of play was brutal. We were delayed by about 30mins at the first tee and then after 7 holes, we were on pace for a 6hr round with only three guys! Course isn’t great, but not bad and the entire area and amenities is nonexistent. I wish someone would buy this place and actually make it a proper golf club!
Terrible ranger
Ranger was terrible accusing me of disgusting gestures which were false and something I wouldn’t do alone even less when im with my wife and son.. It’s sad because i use to enjoyed this course playing there every Saturday.
Overbooked and Poorly Managed
Tee times are set just 5 minutes apart, causing a huge backup — we waited over 30 minutes past our scheduled time just to tee off. The pace of play was extremely slow throughout. On top of that, the ranger kept following our group (all 5 handicaps) even though we were on pace, and at times parked his cart in front of us while we were approaching the green. It’s not like this is a PGA course — there’s no need for that kind of pressure or micromanagement. Definitely not worth the experience.
Still Needs Improvement
I haven’t played this course in over 13 years. It’s significantly improved since then, but it still needs work in a lot of areas. The pro shop area is nonexistent. It’s simply a room with a person working a register. There wasn’t a beverage/snack cart to be found the entire round. The twilight fee price was decent all things considering, but I wouldn’t pay the $75 they’re charging to play early mornings or midday. It’s definitely not a course I would play regularly.
Good Day At The Course
Had a good time, met some other golfers I played with and enjoyed the day.
Killian Greens
Pace of play was slow, very slow. A father wearing sandals and jeans played in front of us with his 2 kids who were walking the course, they each took several shots and searched every body of water for stray balls. Thankfully, the cart girl came around often with cold beverages. The greens were slow but in good shape, the first and second cuts were brutal. Rained the night before so the sand in the bunkers was as hard as concrete. The layout is great, love the course as it has so much potential. Shame that the conditions weren't up to par, actually that's been the case for the past 25 years.
