Killian Greens Golf Club

Course best it’s been in years. Greens are very nice, finally. Tee boxes a little rough but ok. New carts are nice with gps. Layout challenging, makes club selection off tee a thing. $50 is fair price as long as pace of play is good. No starter, so tee times are subjective. A 5some went off in front but kept pace. Coulda been worse.

Yesterday morning I tried playing at Killian. I mentioned I tried playing because after making a tee time at Golf Now the previous day they gave my spot to another player and wanted to push me for the next 3 some 3 groups back. I asked for a refund and they refused because it was policy, but it isn’t policy to give your tee time away. The person at the front desk couldn’t care less.

Love killian greens staff is very nice except manager he thinks he’s way to cool for his job…. He’s a nerd. Greens needs work basically dirt in some spots. I love playing killian since it’s in my back yard and hate to see it deteriorating as it has. I see they are in the remodel process hope they pay the same attention on the course.

Had not been playing well lately and every time I go to the range it is pure, get to the course…and I’m a mess. Just wanted to go put myself on a course and make on the course shots. Got a hot deal for $25 on a Sunday. In season. That alone, can’t beat it.

Course conditions were actually better than expected. The fairways are really bare, firm and there are a lot of almost excessively tight lies. Great practice though! I normally put it out there about 230-240 off the tee, I hit a couple close to 300 with wind and roll. Greens were weird. They are cut short, but spongey. The ball almost reacts like it’s bouncing off a range mat, no ball marks, really tough to get spin, had to use bump and run a lot. They rolled true tho. When I saw the practice green I was not thrilled, all the greens are in much better shape on the course. THE ONE WEIRD THING IS YOU CANNOT BUY ALCOHOL TO BRING WITH YOU ON THE COURSE FROM THE BAR. Something about liquor license, so u have to rip shots before, during after.

They have great bbq ! Brisket sandwich is fire !

I’ve been playing Kilian for 30 years. I would recommend course. Hit’em straight!

Could come down a bot on proce but overall still a great course to play.

Good for the cost, the groundskeepers work hard to keep up with the amount of true amateurs that play.

Overall decent value, should be slightly cheaper given the amenities but still a good spot.

Very friendly reception from the staff.

The cart is equipped with a range finder.

The course is overall in good condition.

The hot deal is worth it.

We will e playing the course again as long as the hot deal is on.

For the price, it was appropriate. The tee boxes need a lot of work. The fairway grass is a combination of different grasses. No rough. The fairways are like concrete, if you hit a good drive it will bounce a long way. The greens where the best part of the course.

I would not pay a lot to play on this course.

No driving range, no shop to buy food or drinks at the start. Water stops only on 2 holes which Mena stop need to bring a huge water bottle between refills.

Overall the course was better than prior times. Tee boxes were a little beat up but still playable. Fairways and course layout was fair. Greens we’re fair. Price for course was overpriced. Course is not worth that much. Would play again if price was lower.
