Killian Greens Golf Club

11 tee box (blue) needs to be reshaped. No flat areas. Fairways have patches of Augustine grass but overall they play great, bouncy firm and healthy. The greens and fringes are good. Greenspeed was good. Well maintained fpr a muni. A foursome jumped in front of us on #10, at 1:15 pm, you have starters and ranger so what are they doing? We were on pace before they started in the wrong 9.

You get what you pay for at Killian.. tee boxes aren’t great but could be worse, fairways aren’t the greenest but challenging and an enjoyable albeit narrow layout. Greens generally play fast, and are in decent shape. Pace can be hit or miss, if you book during high traffic times expect to wait - but over all good for the price, have never had an issue getting golf carts. The club house has a Cuban restaurant and full bar that’s decent.

The course of itself is great. The conditions of the greens and fairways are really good, especially for the price. Some of the tee boxes are a little beat up though.

The management really needs work though. I got there at 1:50 for a 2PM tee time. Everything seemed extremely disorganized and poorly run from the start. They didn’t have any carts. By the time I got a cart it was 2:10. I drove up to the tee box and there were about 12 people trying to tee off. Everyone claimed to have a 2PM tee time so I don’t know how the overbooked by so much. By the time I got out it was 2:35.

The pace of play was absolutely horrible.

The course is really nice, especially for the price. But I don’t think I can come back here based on this experience.

This course is very good for the price. Nothing fancy but it is still fun to play. Fairways 6 out 10. Tee boxes 2 out of 10. Greens 7 out of 10.

At 40 something dollars it is worth playing.

Good fun course. Not very long but a lot of OB so you need to be on with your tee shots! Firm greens running around 9.

You get what you pay for and this course is cheap and convenient for where we live. With that being said the greens are very rarely in good condition. The worst part by far is the staff. The young man at the front desk is about as useful as a 1 iron. The management can’t even walk and chew bubble gum much less manage this course. There are NEVER any carts past noon and they stack up tee times every ten minutes so we typically tee off an hour past our tee time but still have to be there on time. It’s run by idiots and the new management does the same thing.

I play here often, as it’s right around the corner from my home. It’s a fun little course, with tight fairways, and fast greens. The staff is very friendly, and courteous. The prices can be a little steep over the winter, but it isn’t any worse than other courses in the area. Saturday’s can get crowded, so plan on having a longer than normal round.

Overall, it’s a fun course.

Should have had better organization for beginners and regulars. It held up tee times for an hour.
