Killian Greens Golf Club

About
Popular among locals, the course at Killian Greens Golf Club is affordable and challenging. The golf course is quite narrow and built on flat terrain, making it easy to walk. Although there is little elevation change, the greens are sloped and firm. The fairways are narrow and there are sand bunkers situated throughout the course. Canals and lakes create water hazards that come into play on 14 holes. The course features three sets of tees to adapt the game to a variety of different skill levels and abilities. Killian Green Golf Club also boasts a special learning program for kids on their practice course.

Trash
Absolute joke of a golf course, fairways are harder than turf. Feels like I’m hitting off the cart path. Fringe and greens are also garbage and inconsistent. Don’t waste your time or money, go elsewhere.
Poor condition of course maintenance and no amenities
The layout of each hole is easy and good, However the condition of maintenance is low and a lot of of work is ongoing.
Moreover the electrical Poles crossing the golf adds on it. Execpt toilettes no amenities available.
Low price yes, but compare to peers golf courses in the same price range, it is not a very good value .
The course has improved. Greens are much better. Fairways are patchy.
Course about to close - I suspect.
Fairways and greends in poor shape. No club house. I think this may be the last season for the course.
Course overall
Course was playable. Still needs a lot of work to be done. Not bad for an afternoon round during the week.
The interior of the “proshop” feels like an abandoned home. No bar, exposed wires coming out of the wall, bags of trash on the floor. Most shocking site I’ve seen at a golf course. Course in barely decent shape. Greens pretty bad, patches of grass looking Frankenstein. The course winds through a neighborhood and highways, not pretty. Line of 20 carts waiting to tee off. Staff was friendly. They NEED to put some money into the facilities and course it was shocking.
Value play
The course conditions were ok. Pace of play was great. Clubhouse is under renovation, virtually no pro shop and no food or drinks. They did have a cart girl going around. Roaches in the bathroom. Remember this is a value play.
Save your money
had the worst golfing experience in my 20 years of playing at Killian Greens Golf Club. I booked a noon tee time as a single, paid over $130 for rentals and 9 holes, and expected a decent round. Instead, I encountered disorganization, rude staff, and an overall terrible experience.
First, there’s nowhere to park. I spent 10-20 minutes driving around just trying to find a spot, which should have been the first red flag.
Then, tee times were running 30+ minutes behind schedule. When I politely asked the starter about the average round time, he became extremely defensive and rude. Instead of giving a straightforward answer, he abruptly told me to start on the 10th hole and to “go now.”
When I arrived at the 10th tee, the other starter was much friendlier and confirmed I could begin my round there. Everything seemed fine—until the 12th hole, when a group of older golfers started screaming and cursing at me mid-putt, wrongly assuming I had cut in front of them.
I immediately informed course staff who were present, and they confirmed I had done nothing wrong and advised me to ignore the outburst. However, as I prepared for my next shot, the original starter came flying over in a golf cart, yelling at me to pick up my ball because I wasn’t allowed to play this back nine.
This was the same guy who had sent me there in the first place! At that point, I decided to leave—it simply wasn’t worth the hassle. I came here on vacation, looking forward to a relaxing round of golf, and instead, I got yelled at, misdirected, and completely disrespected.
For reference, I’m a low-handicap golfer and play fast, so pace of play was never the issue. The real problem was poor organization, unprofessional staff, and a complete lack of customer service.
I absolutely do not recommend this course to anyone looking for an enjoyable round of golf. Save your time, money, and sanity—go somewhere else.
