The Links at Summerly

I wouldn’t pay more than $30 to play this place again. Range was a joke, bar and food was a joke. No cart person.

This place has great potential. Unfortunately the lack of maintenance has this course screaming for help. Last time we played, the course was starting to look good. The greens were good and they were putting sod in some of the fairways. It looks like they stopped caring.

Played it last summer. Not much difference today even with all the rain. Course needs repair or people will stop coming.

I play here 1-2 times weekly for the excellent layout and the challenging play. Today I shot a 76, a couple strokes over my handicap. This is a links course, very unique with links conditions. You must play smart or it will cost you. Greens are rolling fast and true. Fairways have a lot of bare/dirt spots so they play fast and give you tight, difficult lies. Green surrounds and tee boxes are nice, grass is dormant. Overall very enjoyable at an unbeatable value.

This golf course is in terrible condition. You can hit a drive 250 yards down the middle and be in pure dirt.. there is no grass on this course, and it was not enjoyable. We quit after nine holes. It was an awful experience . Please refund us…

Greens were rolling fast today. Pace of play was pretty good. Bunkers are looking better. Fairways need seed. Challenging play, excellent course to work on your game.

The fairways had little to no grass, which is damaging to clubs. The greens were ok.

The hills and scenery was all green. And the course was 90% dirt. With all the rain it seemed odd.

The layout here is very unique. Definitely gives you a true links experience. Like any links course, conditions are tough. Many bare spots in the fairways, giving you a lot of roll and tight lies. Very fun and challenging. The greens are in good shape rolling fast and true. Going to start playing here regularly for the challenges this course presents.

I understand that grass is seasonal and can go dormant during the winter, however, it was apparent this course wasn’t cared for at all.

Starting in the range, I had to hit off weeds or sand. There was absolutely no grass to warm up on.

The putting green was so diseased there was no way to practice. However, the greens on the course reflected this.

The fairways were completely dried out and I constantly had to move my ball to ensure my lie would not damage my clubs.

This was literally the worst course I’ve ever played. It is a shame because I can tell at one time this course was a gem. I hope the owners invest in it because it has so much potential.

The fairways had "no grass" it was very hard to know where to drive the ball since the fairways blended into the desert.
