I booked a Hot Deal tee time for Tuesday. I had called the course prior to booking asking about a charge for someone to just ride along without playing. I was assured there was no.problem and no charge. I booked the tee time and upon arrival to check in the following day was told it was $20 and then laughed at when the employees were told that I called and the person I spoke to said there was no charge. They said he didn't know what he was talking about and he wasn't an employee but just a volunteer. Needless to say we were not paying an additional $20 for that extremely crappy course especially when my wife wasn't even golfing it! Horrible customer service and crappy course! Save your money!!!!!

Greens are rolling good. Fairways need work. Most of the grass is dormant. Staff are all very friendly. Even with tough conditions, still a good time.

The grass was dormant, which is expected in the winter, however, much of the fairway was dirt (mud - recent rain). Many times I would be in the fairway but had to improve my lie because it was stuck in mud.

The greens were in horrible shape. Ball would bounce around. Also, holes were placed on a slope on the green. Meaning, if you miss a 3' putt (I know you shouldn't be missing 3' putts) , it would sail down the slope. That wouldn't bother much but the rest of the course was in such bad shape, it was icing on the cake

Very disappointing the course was in poor shape. It looked like it was up for sale.

The course is in such terrible condition (played on 1/22/23). There are no fairways to speak of…it’s sand and sparse dormant grass. Greens are in poor shape. Tee boxes are below average, but better than both the fairways and the rough. Can’t complain about the bunkers. Staff is very friendly and professional. This isn’t their fault. Clearly, it’s an ownership / management issue. Sad, because in 2018 or so I thought the course was heading in the right direction. Won’t be playing here again until there is a major overhaul.

What a dog track , looks like they are going out of business, trash not worth 1 fing$

Horrible conditions,

1. No grass on fairways.

2. No sand in bunkers.

3. Greens in bad condition.

4. Only had canned beer in bar, everything else was broken.

If you ever wondered what a couse would look like if the owners only pulled money out of it and never put money into it, go play at Summerly!

Never again for me!

The Links course design is amazing and very challenging. Very unique experience.

Needs course maintenance.

Also, beginners need to be taught pace of play. Lots of discourteous players but they probably have not been taught to keep up.

I slipped coming off the 12th green, fell down on my side and broke two ribs. I went to the hospital and they gave me pain medication

I always enjoy playing here for the fun, challenging play. Excellent links layout, truly is one of a kind.

This is the best layout around. Tough course to play. Greens are good. Fairways have a lot of dirt patches. Most of the turf is dormant. Plays fast and firm.

I’ve played this course 3 times, each time has gotten worst. No grass on the fairways, greens rolled ok but very spotty. The golf cart sounded like the front end was going fall apart. The bar and grill was not open for business. I won’t return unless they sell it to someone who cares about the course.

Would not recommend unless you are looking to get a practice round in. Fairways & Greens are below average. Very dried out. Avoid if you can.

Horse is in marginal shape because of the winter season. 70% of the course is dirt rather than grass. Bunkers are very poor and are not maintained. Carts are getting old as evidenced by creaky and squeaking frames.

Staff is great… All personnel are friendly, courteous, and amenable.

Hopefully, the course will be aerified this spring and grass growth will improve.

Course and clubhouse bathrooms were locked and unavailable. Not acceptable.

My son and I walked today. Weather was perfect. Greens are rolling good. Fairways and rough are dormant. We play here weekly and love it for the unique, challenging play.
