About
The Links at Summerly borders Lake Elsinore, southern California's largest natural lake. The Ortega Mountains and the Cleveland Natural Forest are also the golf course's neighbors. Although it feels nicely secluded, the Links are conveniently just minutes from Temecula. The design tumbles across a rolling terrain that is accented with 3 miles of Scottish-style burns. The natural mounding was deftly incorporated throughout the golf course. The rugged landscape, reminiscent of courses in the British Isles, gives it the look and feel of a traditional links layout. It is a formidable test that features heavily undulated fairways and an abundance of kidney-shaped bunkers. Although there are some tricky holes, each one was designed to offer several different playing strategies. Thought and imagination are required, but you will also have to use every club in your back to navigate the twists and turns of the Links at Summerly.

Was one of the best!!!
The course is in disrepair. The course is in poor condition many of the fairways are dirt. Yet in spite of their poor maintenance practices, they raise the prices on some things by 60%. The current owners must be in over their heads and not have the money to properly maintain this course. It is too bad because when the South California Amature was held at this course it was a 10 not it is a 3 or 4; very sad to see this...

Links golf.. it’s not pretty. If you understand this, you’ll play well. The value is clear, the staff very polite and helpful.

Terrible Fairways, decent greens
Lots of desert where there should be fairways, but as you get closer to the greens, it gets better. Tee boxes and greens are decent but they are not Pristine by any means. I would pay $30 max for 18 hole here. Decent clubhouse. Great pace of play though. True 4 hour round
Very interesting layout.
The course "links course" layout was very challenging for me especially with the windy conditions. I look forward to playing it again now that I have experienced it at least once.
not bad
Not a bad day. Only comment is that apparently my time is less valuable than others? Just as my group was teeing off, a cart with 2 players came right up to the t box, set up their tees and said they were the 'head pro' at the course coming off an earlier start on the back 9 a couple hours earlier. A bit pompous I'd say especially for (apparently) being a course employee.
