About
The Links at Summerly borders Lake Elsinore, southern California's largest natural lake. The Ortega Mountains and the Cleveland Natural Forest are also the golf course's neighbors. Although it feels nicely secluded, the Links are conveniently just minutes from Temecula. The design tumbles across a rolling terrain that is accented with 3 miles of Scottish-style burns. The natural mounding was deftly incorporated throughout the golf course. The rugged landscape, reminiscent of courses in the British Isles, gives it the look and feel of a traditional links layout. It is a formidable test that features heavily undulated fairways and an abundance of kidney-shaped bunkers. Although there are some tricky holes, each one was designed to offer several different playing strategies. Thought and imagination are required, but you will also have to use every club in your back to navigate the twists and turns of the Links at Summerly.

Still Love Course
Good pace of play today. Grass is coming back.
No sand in bunkers is only thing missing.
Poor Conditions & Too Much Roll
Course conditions were extremely poor! And the course layout does not reward "long & straight hitters" ... too many unknown creeks and waste areas and way too much roll off the tee to be able to predict a good shot! A very good drive usually ended up in an un-playble lie.
Kakuya Greens
Greens have been over taken with Kakuya, worst I have ever seen.
Not Bad I will be back
So the greens were soft and had some strange spots on them. Fairways were good for the most part, some terrible areas. This course would not be recommended for beginners; we had a guy in our group that struggled a lot. I always try to play a course a few times before I rate it. But I have nothing bad to say about this course. I shot an 84 my friend shot a 77. The ravine got me a couple of times. I'll know about the course next time.

Not a horrible course but could use some work on the fairways as a lot of them are dead or dying greens were good some brown spots but nothing to crazy
Course in great shape
Other than the heat of the day it was a great day of golf. We played through one group, and then we had the course to ourselves the rest of the day. The course was in good condition, greens, fairways and tees.

Good time
I’ve been here before and the fairways were in need of help but this visit was a lot better. No trees or shade, but it is a Links course, so to be expected. This course is in a Riverbed so sand and no grass spots are throughout the course. The staff has always been friendly and although we didn’t eat, the draft beer afterwards was Ice cold.
Horrible shape
I picked this place off recent reviews but it was horrible. The fairways were bone dry and half dirt. Despite the nice book they give you, you can’t play without it because there are so many areas you have to know where to hit over to avoid hitting out of rocks. Even with the book we still had trouble figuring out how far to hit shots without hitting into trouble.
Looking better
Course is looking better. Greens were in great shape. Fairways are much better. Great value for the price.
Awful
Pretty bad course, standing on the tee of most holes having no idea if the ball will end up even in the fairway, everything is dry and patches of green. Hard to tell where to aim or what is a hazard. The yardage book they give you for free is miss leading cause there’s just patches of hazard all over the place. The pictures online must have been from the first day they opened
