The Links at Summerly

Three holes were closed due to sodding in the fairways. This course used to be a dirtpile but they are finally getting they fairways worked on. Greens are generally good with a couple bare spots. Bunkers were good but had several small rocks and pebbles, not sure if this is common for links courses. Overall, if they get some good grass growing here, it could be a nice track.

Course condition would be five stars but they closed three holes to put in new fairways and the new fairways look great holes 2 5 and 10. New shade over the driving range clean restrooms and nice staff like I said Fun

This place is throwing everything they have to completely overhauling this course . Over the last half year I have seen drastic improvements to the fairways, bunkers, and greens.

I can’t find I better deal in the area.

It is a hidden gem that is getting better every day.

And its hard to play!

It’s worth trying out.

I really love the layout of the course it's fun and different from any other golf course around this area, and what's even better they are really working hard to bring it into shape

Course is a ton of fun but the conditions of the fairways and greens were a little dry. The price of $50 per person was a bit high. For that price I expect a little better

This is my home course but haven’t played there lately cause it’s been in bad shape. Went today and saw they’ve improved a lot. Before it was mostly dirt and dead grass but today i saw a lot of green. I hope they keep improving cause i like this course.

I have been a member at this course for the past three years this is the best shape it’s been in I actually played several holes without even having to move the ball out of a bare spot in the fairway the greens are good the tee boxes are good the problem with the bunkers still exists there are huge rocks and a lot of them in the bunkers this needs to be taken care of ASAP

There are some bare spots on the fairways like traditional links courses. GPS on the cart for $1.50 is worth having as it gives the distances to the burns.

Layout is interesting and sometimes challenging. Greens are fast and excellent. Considering that the course was constructed without enough sand in the soil to account for dissolved solids in the reclaimed water used for irrigation, it’s in admirable shape. Being a links course, bate spots are okay.

Restaurant and bar are very nice. Good food, happy hour 3-6 and free live music on Friday’s in the summer.

Course is slowly getting better. Fairways greening up. They are sifting the traps. Good practice areas. Very friendly staff.

I play in a men's group that plays every other Sunday on this course. The course continues to get in worst shape then before, owners seem to think that fixing the parking lot and buying advertising flags to place all over the course is more important than improving the playing conditions. To top it off, after our round we meet in th restaurant, I was totally ignored by the wait staff, he walked by me and never asked if I wanted anything, I went to the bar to order a drink and some food. Again I was ignored for over 10 minutes, the bar tendeder help others that walked up to the bar after me. Maybe under staffed, but being a oerson that has played at this course since it opened I didn'r appreciated being totalu ignored. Went to the table with the rest of the group and he walked buy another 3-4 times without asking any of us if we wanted to order something. Worst service ever. Put a fork in me, if I wanted to be ignored I stay at home. Wish that I could put a 1% star for this business.
