Fun time
I went as single but played with some great partners. Greens very pitted but course otherwise has been cleaned up. Best cheeseburgers anywhere! It was pretty busy but pace was slow mostly just due to one group in front of us. Range now open but didn’t get to try it. Saw more geese in flight than ever in my life.
Super Friendly Staff
The course is way out in the middle of nowhere. The layout is not great.
But, I will very likely go back because of the terrific staff that was super nice. Truly can’t say enough about them for my first time visiting. Great job and when I come back it will be because of you.
Fun course
This was my first time playing here. The staff was awesome. Very friendly!
The greens were in great shape. Rolled turn and we’re on the fast side. The fairways were good. Could be cut a little tighter.
Overall, had a great time here and will definitely come back.
Fun Course to play.
Enjoy this course each time we play there. A bit cold (32 deg) and windy. Still had a good time.

We always enjoy playing River Oaks, seems like the course is always in great condition!!! The staff is always friendly and accommodating!!!
Flexible and friendly staff
I overshot on my invitations and ended up with 5 friends who wanted to golf. I asked the club if they would accommodate and they were good with it as long as I kept up with pace of play. We also left a speaker and phone in our carts and they were set aside for our pick up. Friendly staff.
Too Far for not much challenge
30 mile drive for mediocre course and conditions. Should have stayed with Ancil Hoffman instead . . . only 10 min away.
