River Oaks Golf Club

Well kept course, fun to play and they staff is phenomenal! A couple bunkers are in the repair process but overall one of my favorites!

I can say this culb has a good quality of course.

I would like to play again.

Pace of play was the worst ever. No starter, and never saw a marshal on the first nine holes. That’s right we only played nine holes because it took us three hours.

The course looked great and the conditions of the fairways, although I didn’t play them very often, and the greens were in great condition.

Great job!

Every thing great except slow greens.

Place is beautiful and staff are friendly.

The greens were in good condition, but a little slow. The fairways grass was a bit tall, slightly wet, and slow.

Made a time for a Saturday foursome, paid the upfront fees, and we made the pilgrimage to the course only to find it closed. No notification from the course, nor GolfNow. So yeah, not a great experience at all.

Course was in excellent shape. Layout was interesting enough and it didn’t “bore” you. Like the doglegs on the course. Greens were slow though but I guess it’s that way with blue grass greens. Only gripe I had was that we started over 30 minutes after our tee time because supposedly Ladies groups who played the Back Nine first had “priority” when teeing off on the front (?). Apparently that’s the way it is according to two locals I played with.

Holes #3 green side water hazard at 190-yds and #11 with trees at tee and playing 225-yds both from black

The tee boxes need real attention and the fairways could use some help too but the greens weren’t yo bad.
