Yucaipa Valley Golf Club

The employee at the desk mentioned the greens and fairways were in bad shape and they are scheduled to be aerated next week. I was fine with that, when i got on the course it was beyond awful, the fairways were thick and clumpy and the greens had horrible patch jobs all over them. It was a busy day and the people who play this course are by far the rudest people I have ever met!!! I have never seen a group of people who think they are professional players and lack common sense, I am highly dissatisfied with this course and the golfers who play here, I will never be back here again and I HIGHLY recommend finding a course to play elsewhere.

If I could give no stars I would. This course has really gone downhill since the last time I played here. First of all the greens were terrible. On multiple holes, the green was patched together a quilt. There was also what appeared to be some sort of fungus growing on and around the green. Secondly, the course maintenance was atrocious. Ridiculously long grass on almost every hole, coupled with areas that were overwatered and flooded. I understand trying to keep the course wet due to the heat, but this was just dumb. It's interesting to see recent reviews on this course saying its in great condition (Seems fishy). Our group had some some nice tee shots down the middle of the fairway that would get caught up in a patch of grass the landscape maintenance guys missed. If you were a foot off the fairway, good luck finding your ball. In summary, today sucked...I would love to get my money back. This course takes the fun out of golf.

I'm very disappointed with Yucaipa Valley golf course I have played there about a year ago and it was very nice. But today I consider it the Worst course I have ever played.

Most of the greens are in terrible shape, holes mismatched grass, diseased. Not just one hole but over half of them.

The grass next to the fairway are long and uncut. Weeds growing in the middle of the fairway. Muddy conditions are the greens. (It hasn't rained in weeks.)

Tee boxes are uneven, weeds growing, and over all in poor conditions. Sand traps have rocks in them.

There is no excuse for these conditions, it just is very poor maintenance. I think management is clueless or doesn't care.

Don't golf there with so many other courses, we will never forget the conditions and never go back.

The course is a lot of fun and very forgiving. Staff is friendly and food and drinks are good.

Grass was to tall and hard to find my ball even if landed on fairway due to high grass. Greens were also bumpy and people don’t fix divots which drives me crazy. However great place to play and relax.

Parking Brakes on the golf carts need adjusting. I play here often and every cart I’ve had, has parking brakes that don’t set.

Had played here sporadically over the years but not so much in the last 2-3 due to conditions, crowding, other options available. After hearing of recent course improvements I decided to see for myself and have been impressed by recent course setup. Still gets a few dry spots here and there, but overall the course has played great and the greens have been very well kept. Stay out of the sand though....like bouncing off of concrete sometimes with pretty rocky conditions.

The course still needs a little TLC!! The rack rate is way too high for this course. $59.00!. I still recommend the course. Check for yourself it’s just ok for me.

This is my home course, I play roughly once a week. The course is in good condition right now, but unfortunately not all of the staff members are helpful. There’s two pros that work in the shop and a few different women. One of the pros is very nice/helpful, the other is frankly the opposite. Some days are better than others, but the unhappy pro always seems to feel burdened anytime you come in. There are a couple of new kids helping in the office, they don’t really think I’m their feet too well. All of the ladies are very nice whenever I play in the afternoons after work (when the pros are gone). The course is in great condition, and majority of the staff are nice, but some things can always be better.

Beautiful day, course in good shape for having so much recent rain. Pace a little slow, we were a foursome behind a foursome that was extremely slow, had to wait almost every hole. No marshalls out to speed them up. Twosome hitting in to us.

We were the 1st group out and the course was in good shape greens were lush and sticking

fairways were rough and many of the greens had a strange grass growing on them. They rolled fast if you were above the hole. overall it was a perfect "weather" day and it was fun to get out and play.

We’ve played this course 3-4 times. It was in fair to good condition today. The greens had been aerated and they were fast. It’s a nice public course but I have one major problem with the staff. Every time I’ve played here the staff checking us in treated us, a Golf Now player, like I was a second class golfer and I was Lucky to be playing there. The feeling was very condescending. That is very disrespectful. My wife and I are retired corporate professionals and believe me, we play at a lot better and smaller courses than this one and I’ve never been treated so disrespectful. I have a choice where I play. They need to retrain their staff to be friendly and to treat everyone who plays there with more courtesy and respect. I mean the guy talked down to us when We checked in. I walked to the counter and gave my name and tee time the the guys said “You people who buy on line have to wait your turn. You don’t get any special perks because you buy on line. You will start at your assigned tee time and not sooner.” Then I said hello!! Wow!! Be ware!! Their customer service Sucks!! This has happened more than once. So, it’s the culture of the course and management to me.

the greens were sanded, that wasn't mentioned on the website, nor was it mentioned when we checked in!

I feel that i got changed to much i got charged

24.00 for the booking and when i got to the golf course the charged me 42.00 . That was more

The more then the regular price.

Golfed this course a few times and always enjoy the round. Course in not bad shape for winter conditions. Staff are always friendly. Good value for the money.
