About
Mount Dora Golf Club is a historic, member-owned golf club open to the public, located about 35 miles northwest of downtown Orlando. The course began to form in 1945, shortly after World War II when returning G.I.'s petitioned the city for land to build a golf course.
A second nine was added in 1959 and the clubhouse was build in the 1960s. Set on just 85 acres, the course bills itself as "The longest 5,700 yards in Florida" thanks to an abundance of water and up and downhill lies that will demand precision over power.

Great course!
I really enjoyed playing at Mount Dora Golf Club, the greens were in great shape, and liked the course layout. Hard to find hills like this in florida. Great price on the round and the drinks! Nice carts too.
Mt Dora GC
Decent course, fairways need to be watered more so grass will grow better. Tee box hitting areas need to be moved around so tee boxes have more grassy areas and not so many divets in the same area when trying to tee off.

Decent course for the money, needs fairways prior to approach of the greens to be better. Should move tee boxes around so tee area can be repaired and have more grass on them.

Course is in great shape. Nice staff at the pro shop.

I felt it was too old and run down. Poor design if your going to have such tiny greens then the slope around them needs to be more fair. Even though the greens were very slow they had too much run off.

Not well maintained. Even grass on putting greens was not cut well.
Very nice staff!
All we encountered from cashier to starter to bar staff were very pleasant.
