Mount Dora Golf Club

About
Mount Dora Golf Club is a historic, member-owned golf club open to the public, located about 35 miles northwest of downtown Orlando. The course began to form in 1945, shortly after World War II when returning G.I.'s petitioned the city for land to build a golf course.
A second nine was added in 1959 and the clubhouse was build in the 1960s. Set on just 85 acres, the course bills itself as "The longest 5,700 yards in Florida" thanks to an abundance of water and up and downhill lies that will demand precision over power.

Mount Dora Golf Course
We haven't played this course in a few months, but we were very happy with all of the improvements. The course was in excellent shape. All of the tee boxes and greens were filled in nicely. It was good to see all of the course maintenance. Crew doing their job.
We will definitely play here again.
One of my favorites
I've never seen this course in better condition. Greens are slow but it's in good shape. Fun, challenging, hilly course.
Great bargain
Course was in great shape, the greens were nice, not long but you better keep it tight.
In Excellent Condition
Course is back in excellent condition, fairways, greens, roughs are all very good. Highly recommend.
Better than expected
This course is in better shape than most of the courses that I’ve played in the Orlando area. There’s actually grass on the tee boxes. It’s not fancy, but it allows you to get out and hit your driver a few times. The greens are not perfect but they’re good enough. I’ve played on worse and have paid far more! I’ll be back. 👍
Nice Course
It is a nice course especially at the price point. The staff are among the nicest I've ever met anywhere... Next visit to Florida this place is definitely on our list
4/27 /golf
Staff was friendly and course was in good overall condition considering lack of rain in the area. Like the terrain. Some of the greens are mounded and tricky but fair course overall. I will return.
Course is in good shape
Nice course, great staff-esp Dorothy in the proshop.
Great shape! Great price!
They say it is the longest 5700 yard course in Florida. It is challenging but fun to play. Course was in great shape for all of the play it receives. Greens were a bit slow because they let the grass grow some so they do not burn out.
