The Rawls Course
Got back after a couple of years without playing here. Outstanding course,was in great condition, greens were rolling very nicely.All staff were very friendly and professional, would be my club of choice if I end up moving here from Australia. Top notch golf here!
Almost Perfect
Great day except for losing a club. The Tech golf team was playing behind our foursome and the marshal politely asked us to speed up because team could not split. Fine. The only bad part is that I left a club behind (my stupidity) I let the pro shop know as I left and called twice over the next week and could not get anyone to check on it (I have my name and number on the club) Drove out there and it was not turned in. Employee said team may have thrown it in with their equipment and they just haven't turned it into the pro shop yet. Three weeks and still no call so its gone. My son left my range finder in a cart at TPC Scottsdale and they mailed it back free of charge. Expected more from Tech team and a facility that nice. Won't let it keep me from going back, though. Beautiful and first class in every way.
Rawls 1st time
The course was in good condition, and was challenging for an intermediate player. The layout was excellent.
Challenging but fair. I would play it again.
Rawls
Amazing course like always. Greens are fast and break is true. Fairways are well maintained and no random dirt patches you get around Lubbock at other courses. Plan around the heat though.

Everything was great! Greens, bunkers and fairways were in great condition. The staff is very friendly and helpful too.
First time at Rawls
Don’t love the layout myself - too many blind shots and the rough was high in prep for an upcoming collegiate event. Like desert golf (due to it waste areas), if you don’t drive it well, it’ll be a long round looking for balls. Rough was so high, you had to look for balls right off the fairway too. Super cool place, loved it, but can be tough and a long day. Really helps if you’ve played it a few times (blind shots).

The Rawls course was in excellent condition and was very beautiful. The club house and staff were great.
Best golf course
I had only heard about this course, but witnesses it first hand was entirely different,
