The Rawls Course at Texas Tech

Extremely disappointed with the experience at Rawls Golf Course. I left my range finder in the cart after my round, and when I contacted the staff immediately after, they claimed it was never found. I know for a fact it was left in the cart, and the lack of urgency or concern from the staff was alarming. I strongly believe one of the student workers took it, and the course is now turning a blind eye. This is unacceptable and reflects very poorly on the integrity of the staff. I won’t be returning, and I’ll be warning others to keep a close eye on their belongings here.

Beautiful course great staff. The front nine was a good smooth warm up. And the the back nine the challenge really began. Overall a great time and wonderful experience.

When we played when we got to the course it was cart path only, we asked the staff they said because they put down fertilizer?????? Why?????? It’s tough cart path only and now it was so slow!!!! Won’t come again for that price!!!!!!

It was the first time playing here, and we had a great time! I would definitely come back to play…

Great course, a little patchy considering it was a winter day.

Loved the course and the facilities. Definitely need to get there early and warm up. Rewards accuracy, and a green in regulation is the only way to make par.

Tons of deer poop everywhere and got very windy. My playing partner referred to it as a “haboob” (dust storm - winds near 50mph).
